13° round del campionato Supercross, si va verso la fine del campionato, Houston e l’ultimo dei TRIPLE CROWN ha dato il vincitore che sembra proprio voler questo titolo, Marvin Musquin sportellato a dovere dal compagno di team Cooper Webb che vince l’assoluta, Dean Wilson terzo, Roczen messo fuori gara e Tomac lascia spazio agli avversari!!! Cooper Webb: “E ‘stata una grande serata in generale con un 2-1-3, e ho ottenuto una vittoria per il Main Event, che è stato fantastico. La coerenza è stata fondamentale per questa gara: è difficile schierarsi per tre Main Event e andare a combattere con il meglio del meglio, quindi è una buona notte per ottenere la vittoria, sono entusiasta! ”
Marvin Musquin: “”Ottenendo due vittorie e entrando nel formato Triple Crown, sai che sarà intenso. Ho mostrato un ottimo riding in tutti e tre i Main Event ma sfortunatamente ho avuto problemi nei primi due che mi hanno impedito di vincere la classifica generale stasera. L’ultima gara, ho messo tutto insieme con una grande partenza e ho guidato come so fare. Ero così felice di avere la pista libera davanti a me ed è stato super divertente guidare in testa.”
Dean Wilson:” È bello essere sul podio. Dimostra che ho lavorato all’infinito per arrivare qui e ho continuato a credere e a staccare la spina. Sono sempre vicino nelle qualifiche e nelle gare di quali e dimostra che ce l’ho, ma farlo in Main Event è un’altra storia e sto lavorando sodo in quel reparto. ”
Eli Tomac (4 °):” Non siamo atterrati sul podio stasera. Questo formato di gara Triple Crown veloce e back to back può essere impegnativo, soprattutto quando non si hanno le partenze che si spera. Ho messo tutto fuori stasera; l’equipaggio e io torneremo al lavoro questo fine settimana e speriamo di girare tutto fino in fondo per questi ultimi round. Useremo ciò che abbiamo imparato da questa sera e lo applicheremo alla gara della prossima settimana a Nashville. ”
Ken Roczen (10 °):” Il primo evento principale di questa sera è stato davvero così bello! Abbiamo fatto una grande partenza e siamo usciti subito davanti, tirando un gap di 10 secondi sul resto del campo. È stato fantastico vedere la bandiera a scacchi prima di chiunque altro; sfortunatamente, era solo in un main. Nella seconda, mi sono aggrovigliato con la ruota posteriore di Dean [Wilson] e sono andato giù abbastanza forte. Mi sono rotto il dito del piede e inizialmente pensavo di avere un infortunio alla caviglia, ma per fortuna non era così. Anche la mia moto era piegata dopo l’incidente. Ho controllato e in realtà ho iniziato a sentirmi meglio, invece era peggio, dopo 15 o 20 minuti. Era buono ma il mio dito era ancora molto sofferente. Fortunatamente sono stato in grado di tornare in sella alla moto e fare ciò che potevo nel terzo main, recuperando un ottavo posto e ottenendo il 10° posto. Non è esattamente come volevamo concludere questa sera, specialmente per quanto bene è andato il giorno e la prima gara, ma ancora una volta siamo sani e passiamo a quello successivo. A un certo punto, arriverà. ”

Dylan Ferrandis: “”È bello avere due vittorie consecutive. Mi ha dato ancora più fiducia in me stesso e nella mia guida. Come ho detto l’ultima volta, mi piace molto il formato Triple Crown. Avevo solo bisogno di essere coerente stasera per ottenere un buon risultato. È quello che ho fatto e alla fine ho vinto. Ora sono a cinque punti dal leader, che mi dà una possibilità per il campionato. Abbiamo il weekend libero la prossima settimana, ma ancora una volta mi allenerò duramente per essere pronto per gli ultimi due turni “.

Cooper Webb: ““It was a great night overall with a 2-1-3, and I got a Main Event win, which was cool. Consistency was key to this race – it’s tough to line up for three Main Events and go to battle with the best-of-the-best, so it’s a good night to get the win, I’m stoked on it!”
Marvin Musquin: “Coming off two wins and going into Triple Crown format, you know it’s going to be intense. I showed great riding in all three Main Events but unfortunately, I had issues in the first two that kept me from taking the overall win tonight. The last race, I put it all together with a great start and rode like myself. I was so happy to have a clear track ahead of me and it was super enjoyable to ride in the lead.”
Dean Wilson: “It’s good to be on the podium. It shows that I’ve been working endlessly to get up here and I’ve just kept believing and plugging away. I’m always close in qualifying and heat races and it shows I have it, but doing it in Main Events is another story and I’m working hard in that department.”
Eli Tomac (4°): “We landed just shy of the podium tonight. This quick, back-to-back Triple Crown race format can be challenging, especially when you don’t get the starts you’re hoping for. I put it all out there tonight; the crew and I will get back to work this weekend and hope to turn it all the way on for these last few rounds. We’ll use what we’ve learned from tonight and apply it to next week’s race in Nashville.”
Ken Roczen (10°): “The first main event tonight was seriously so good! We grabbed a great start and got out front right away, pulling a 10-second gap on the rest of the field. It was amazing to see the checkered flag before anyone else; unfortunately, it was only in one main. In the second one, I got tangled up with Dean’s [Wilson] rear wheel and went down pretty hard. I smashed my toe and originally thought I had an ankle injury but luckily that wasn’t the case. My bike was also so bent up after the crash. I got checked out and it actually started to feel better, instead of worse, after 15 to 20 minutes. That was good but my toe was still in a lot of pain. Luckily I was able to just jump back on the bike and do what I could in the third main, salvaging an eighth-place and getting 10th overall. It’s not really how we wanted to end tonight, especially with how well the day and first race went, but again we’re healthy and moving on to the next one. At one point, it will come.”

Dylan Ferrandis: ““It feels good to get two wins in a row. It gave me even more confidence in myself and my riding. Like I said last time, I really like the Triple Crown format. I just needed to be consistent tonight to get a good result. It’s what I did and I finally took the win. I’m now five points from the leader, which gives me a chance for the championship. We have the weekend off next week, but once again I will train hard to be ready for the final two rounds.”
