DIGA Procross KTM utilizzerà la tecnologia da gara KTM SX-F in entrambe le classi MXGP e MX2 del Campionato mondiale FIM Motocross 2022 con una nuova formazione di piloti. La squadra tedesca dà il benvenuto al vincitore del Grand Prix Thomas Kjer Olsen e al debuttante del Grand Prix Liam Everts nella loro operazione con sede a Colonia.
Il legame tra l’ambizioso team DIGA Procross e il reparto corse KTM esiste dal 2018 poiché l’outfit ha contribuito a sviluppare numerosi piloti e talenti del Grand Prix. L’unità di Justin Amian ora guiderà le avanzate moto da motocross SX-F di KTM – con il supporto della factory – ma ospiterà anche gli obiettivi competitivi di Thomas Kjer Olsen nella classe MXGP e del nuovo arrivato Liam Everts in MX2.
Olsen entra solo nel suo secondo mandato in MXGP dopo aver rivendicato vittorie, podi e tre classifiche nelle prime tre posizioni in un mandato di successo MX2. Il 24enne danese sta cercando di progredire nella sua carriera nel 2022 dopo aver mostrato una velocità sufficiente per entrare nella top ten regolare nel 2021. Il calendario del prossimo anno vedrà il numero 19 correre per la prima volta con la KTM 450 SX-F per quello che sarà anche essere la prima apparizione di DIGA Procross nella categoria.
Liam Everts fa il passo nella competizione Grand Prix per il suo primo anno intero a livello di campionato del mondo. Il 17enne belga ha scolpito il suo nome nelle fondamenta di questo sport grazie a una tecnica eccellente e a un sacco di potenziale. Ha mostrato abbastanza promesse attraverso i Campionati europei EMX125 ed EMX250 (con apparizioni sul podio in entrambe le divisioni) – oltre a debuttare per il suo paese al Motocross delle Nazioni 2021 – per guadagnare il suo posto MX2 con la KTM 250 SX-F.

DIGA Procross KTM will run KTM SX-F race technology in both the MXGP and MX2 classes of the 2022 FIM Motocross World Championship with a fresh rider line-up. The German squad welcome Grand Prix winner Thomas Kjer Olsen and Grand Prix rookie Liam Everts into their Cologne-based operation.
The bond between the ambitious DIGA Procross team and the KTM racing department has existed since 2018 as the outfit helped develop a number of riders and Grand Prix talent. Justin Amian’s unit will now steer KTM’s advanced SX-F motocross machinery – with factory backing – but they will also harbor the competitive objectives of Thomas Kjer Olsen in the MXGP class and newcomer Liam Everts in MX2.
Olsen enters only his second term in MXGP after claiming victories, podiums and three top-three classifications in a successful MX2 tenure. The 24-year-old Dane is looking to progress his career in 2022 after showing sufficient speed to become a top ten regular in 2021. Next year’s calendar will see #19 race the KTM 450 SX-F for the first time for what will also be DIGA Procross’ maiden appearance in the category.
Liam Everts makes the step into Grand Prix competition for his first full year at world championship level. The 17-year-old Belgian has been carving his name into the foundations of the sport thanks to excellent technique and bags of potential. He showed enough promise through the EMX125 and EMX250 European Championships (with podium appearances in both divisions) – as well as debuting for his country at the 2021 Motocross of Nations – to earn his MX2 berth with the KTM 250 SX-F.
