MIKKEL HAARUP FIRMA CON DRT KAWASAKI
Dopo due stagioni per il team F&H Racing, Mikkel Haarup inizierà a correre per il team britannico DRT Kawasaki dal prossimo anno.

MIKKEL HAARUP SIGNS WITH DRT KAWASAKI
After two seasons for the F&H Racing team, Mikkel Haarup will start racing for the British DRT Kawasaki team from next year.

Haarup has signed a two-year deal and will continue to compete in the MX2 World Championship.
In addition to Haarup, Taylor Hammal will compete for the DRT Kawasaki!

DRT entra nel suo ottavo anno con Kawasaki, dopo aver vinto tre campionati mondiali WMX e un terzo posto assoluto in MX2 [con Max Anstie nel 2015]. Il 2022 vedrà la squadra cercare di aggiungere un altro campionato WMX, oltre ad accogliere il ventenne Mikkel Haarup nella parte MX2 dello sforzo. Haarup ha firmato un contratto biennale con Kawasaki Europe.
Haarup rimarrà con Kawasaki ma si trasferirà nel team DRT Kawasaki nel tentativo di trovare la gloria. Il team inglese non è estraneo a portare i piloti al prossimo passo di una vittoria MXGP. Steve Dixon (proprietario del team): “Questo è il mio trentatreesimo anno come proprietario di un team e ogni anno è una nuova sfida. Quest’anno non fa eccezione. Siamo super felici di dare il benvenuto a Mikkel nella squadra. Sarà un progetto molto interessante, visto che gli mancano ancora tre anni nella classe MX2. Pensare che è già salito sul podio e ha fatto delle belle corse mi rende molto entusiasta di vedere se riesco a tirare fuori il meglio da lui. Non c’è assolutamente alcun motivo per cui non possa spingere in prima linea ogni settimana! Ho passato un po’ di tempo con Mikkel; Mi piace molto il suo atteggiamento, la determinazione e la professionalità. È una gioia lavorare con lui!”

DRT enters its eighth year with Kawasaki, having delivered three World WMX championships and a finish of third overall in MX2 [with Max Anstie in 2015]. 2022 will see the team look to add another WMX championship, as well as welcome 20-year-old Mikkel Haarup to the MX2 side of the effort. Haarup has signed a two-year deal with Kawasaki Europe.
Haarup will stay with Kawasaki but move to the DRT Kawasaki team in a bid to find glory. The English-based team are no strangers to taking riders to that next step of an MXGP win. Steve Dixon (Team Owner): “This is my thirty-third year as a team owner, and every year is a new challenge. This year is no exception. We are super happy to welcome Mikkel to the team. It’s going to be a very interesting project, as he still has three years left in the MX2 class. To think that he has already been on the podium and had some good rides makes me very excited to see if I can bring the best out of him. There is absolutely no reason why he cannot be pushing at the front each week! I have spent some time with Mikkel; I really like his attitude and determination and professionalism. He is a joy to work with!”
