15° round del campionato Supercross, siamo quasi agli sgoccioli del campionato, Denver è un altra nuova meta e ha dato il vincitore rosicchiando punti al leader di campionato per questo titolo, Marvin Musquin dopo aver condotto gara per svariati giri ha avuto un netto calo nella parte finale, lui stesso dice che non aveva feeling, ma forse la pressione lo ha fatto calare o forse altre circostanze, lo passa Cooper Webb che chiude secondo e perde pochi punti sul vincitore e inseguitore in campionato tale Eli Tomac! Sotto i commenti del podio e dei due principali team factory, più il vincitore della 250!!!
Dean Wilson ha guidato molto bene negli ultimi tempi, ma ha avuto un duro incidente in una corsia ritmica principale. Sentiamo che potrebbe avere un infortunio alla spalla, forse una clavicola rotta, ma ci vorrà un aggiornamento ufficiale dalla squadra per sapere con certezza.

Eli Tomac: “È stata la gara più rumorosa in cui sia mai stato (E’ la gara di casa per Eli n.d.r.) E ‘stato bello, mi sentivo bene per tutto il main, non mi sentivo come se fossi solo in agguato”, Tomac ha spiegato che i problemi che lo affliggevano a metà stagione sembrano essere spariti, problemi legati al feeling e ad un incidente pre-season. “Ma era solo l’atmosfera. Voglio dire, ho preso il comando a metà strada, quindi non era come se fosse una specie di inseguimento, ma la folla stava tifando per tutto il tempo. E ‘stata una bella sensazione. Sarebbe bello averlo ogni fine settimana. ”
Cooper Webb: “”Ho guidato davvero bene e una volta arrivato su Joey [Savatgy], sono stato davvero bravo in quello che è successo, buono su tutta la pista e sono stato in grado di catturare Marvin e, in effetti, passarlo ha messo un po ‘di margine. Mi sembrava di aver catturato un po ‘Eli, ma lui era un po’ lontano nella sua gara. Nel complesso, è stato un buon fine settimana. Ken Roczen (7°):“Finalmente abbiamo un fine settimana di stop. Sto cercando di migliorare il mio corpo nelle prossime due settimane. Ho lottato con certe cose negli ultimi due mesi. È stato davvero difficile andare alle gare e sentirmi come sono stato. Stiamo lentamente iniziando a capire cosa sta succedendo. Le cose come questa richiedono molto tempo e il recupero non avviene neanche durante la notte. Non ne ho parlato molto perché ciò non rende la cosa migliore nel giorno della gara. Quando avrò risolto e ottenuto una certa coerenza nel mio programma giornaliero, saremo in una buona posizione per iniziare a vincere. Lo so. È difficile migliorare le cose quando si corre con un problema durante i 15 weekend consecutivi.
Zach Osborne (8°): “La gara di qualifica è stata molto positiva per me, sono stato in grado di ottenere la seconda posizione e mi sentivo come se avessi la velocità per vincere, ma solo che non ero davvero davanti. Nel Main Event, ho ottenuto un inizio decente ed ero in grado di correre davvero per il podio, ma la seconda metà del mio main event ho avuto un momento difficile per stare nuovamente dentro il flusso dopo la bandiera della croce rossa quando è venuta fuori.”

Dean Wilson has been riding very well as of late, but he took a hard crash in a rhythm lane in the main. We hear he might have a shoulder injury, possibly a broken collarbone, but it will take an official update from the team to know for certain.
Eli Tomac: “That was the loudest race I’ve ever been in, ever. It was good, I felt good the whole main, I didn’t feel like I was just hanging on,” said Tomac, explaining that the issues that plagued him at mid-season appear to be gone. “But it was just the atmosphere. I mean, I took the lead halfway, so it wasn’t like it was some kind of barn burner, but the crowd was cheering the whole way. It was a great feeling. It would be rad to have that every weekend.”
Cooper Webb: ““I rode really well once I got around Joey [Savatgy], I was really good in the whoops, good on the whole track and I was able to catch Marvin and actually pass him put a little gap. I felt like I caught Eli a little bit but he was kind of riding his own race. Overall, it was a good weekend. Obviously, I want to win but it’s still good points and we’ll enjoy this off-weekend.”
Marvin Musquin: “I was not very confident going into the Main after a difficult heat race but good thing we made some changes and they helped me pull off a good start – that was the key to getting on the podium tonight. The track was very difficult with the hard surface and ground but no excuses I gave my best.” “I think I was struggling a little bit [late in the race], the conditions were definitely tough,” Musquin said. “I tried my best, but I was losing time on certain sections of the track. I had some decent laps but I was not able to do that the whole main, unfortunately.”
Ken Roczen (7°): “We finally have an off weekend. I m trying to get my body better in the next couple weeks. I have been struggling with certain things for the past couple months. It’s been really tough going to the races and feeling the way that i have been. We are slowly starting to figure out what’s going on. Things like this take a long time as well as fixing it doesn’t happen over night either. I haven’t talked much about it because that doesn’t make it any better on race day. When i get this fixed and get some consistency in my every day program we will be in a good position to start winning. I know it. It’s tough to get things better when you have an issue racing 15 weekends in a row.
Zach Osborne (8°): “The heat race was really positive for me, I was able to get second and I felt like I had the speed to win but just wasn’t really executing. In the Main Event, I got off to a decent start and was in position to really charge for a podium but the second half of my Main I had a hard time getting back into the flow after the red cross flag came out.”
