Forato and Guadagnini: a Dominate Duo in Trentino
Pietramurata (Trentino – Italia) 7 aprile 2019 – Il secondo round del 2019 EMX250 e EMX125 ha avuto luogo questo fine settimana sul circuito Trentino dove l’Italia con Alberto Forato e Mattia Guadagnini di Maddii Racing Husqvarna ha preso le rispettive vittorie.
PIETRAMURATA (Trentino – Italy) 07 April 2019 – The second rounds of the 2019 EMX250 and EMX125 presented by FMF Racing Championships took place this weekend at the Trentino circuit where Italy’s own Alberto Forato and Mattia Guadagnini from Maddii Racing Husqvarna took the respective wins.
The round of Trentino is always one of the best attended by fans and riders due to not only Italy’s passion for motocross but also the incredible venue, its surroundings, and unique circuit. This weekend the two FIM EuropeChampionships had a combined list of 193 entries. Saturday sessions split the classes into two further groups where only the top 20 of each qualified to line up in the Championship points paying races. Once the qualifying practice was completed 40 riders made the starting list in each class and lined up for the first races of their 2 day, 2 race format.
EMX250 Gara 1 il Sabato ha iniziato in maniera drammatica con i piloti accatastati sia nella prima e seconda curva. Di Creymert Corsa Kevin Horgmo venuto via illeso e ha tenuto il vantaggio iniziale, ma di Honda Stephen Rubini si spostò nella premiere POSIZIONAMENTO al secondo giro.
Rubini ha aperto la strada, mentre il leader del campionato, di Maddii corse Husqvarna Alberto Forato, era in 4°. Forato ha fatto passi sia su di Rubini che sul compagno di squadra Pierre Goupillon e Horgmo per entrare in 2°.
Horgmo combattuto la schiera italiana e ha portato al giro successivo in tutto il traguardo, ma poi tornò al 3° il giro più tardi. Forato era all’inseguimento della vetta di Rubini che conduceva.
Forato ha accettato gentilmente l’iniziativa geniale e non ha mai guardato indietro prendendo la vittoria per 11.6 secondi su Rubini. Horgmo prese il 3° mentre Goupillon e di Ghidinelli Racing Team Giuseppe Tropepe chiude la top 5.
La gara 2 è stata guidata da Rubini dopo la partenza ma aveva Forato dietro per fare passaggi rapidi dietro di lui e mettere pressione dal 2°. Nel giro 2 l’ufficiale Rubini è stato passato sulla Pit Lane al punto di partenza di Forato con applausi del pubblico di casa, ma poi cadde Forato consegnando Rubini un vantaggio subito indietro.
Forato torna e subito tornò a lavorare apparentemente calmo, prendere il ruolo principale attraverso la fine. Goupillon stava guardando la battaglia un po ‘più indietro prima di riuscire ad ottenere il passaggio su Tropepe per la 3° posizione.
Al traguardo Forato portato avanti la sua stagione dominante e perfetta con la sua 4° vittoria in 4 gare. Rubini finisce secondo nella gara e 2° nel complesso mentre Tropepe ha preso l’ultimo posto sul podio.
Alberto Forato: “Di sicuro mi sento molto bene, perché il GP di casa è sempre divertente Qui c’è un sacco di fan e un sacco di amici, è arrivato il successo e ho ottenuto 1° e 1° in modo che non poteva essere migliore…”

EMX125 è stato chiaro il taglio con Maddii Corsa Husqvarna Mattia Guadagnini che conduce ognuno dei 15 giri. Di F4E corse KTM Guillem Farres Plaza è stato più vicino a Guadagnini mentre correva al 2° per i primi 7 giri.
Del Team KTM VRT Tom Guyon era l’uomo con una missione ma come è venuto dal 7° per assumere la posizione di 2° al giro di boa. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Kay de Wolf è stato il terzo fino Guyon e passò sulla strada per il 2°.
Quando la bandiera a scacchi è sventolata Guadagnini è stato il vincitore seguito da Guyon, Plaza, De Wolf, e di A1M Husqvarna Jorgen-Matthias Talviku.
Oggi il suono dei due tempi ha portato la vita al circuito per la gara 2 come il primo evento in pista. Il vincitore in precedenza, Guadagnini era fuori con un’altra prestazione dominante, che porta i primi giri di gara 2 davanti a De Wolf e di WZ-Racing Simon Laengenfelder.
Laengenfelder alzò per 2 posizioni con De Wolf scendendo a terzo davanti Guyon che passava sia il giro successivo. Proprio nel più breve tempo la moto #516 WZ-Racing fessurati in 2° si è mischiato di nuovo al 4° prima di tornare al 3° un altro giro più tardi.
Per gli ultimi 6 giri in testa del pilota tra i primi 7 hanno tenuto le loro posizioni che significa che Guadagnini ha segnato la generale con 1-1 e ha esteso i suoi punti di vantaggio davanti ai tifosi di casa. Guyon e De Wolf nel frattempo hanno completato il podio che va 2-2 e 3-3, rispettivamente.
Mattia Guadagnini: “E ‘stato un weekend perfetto, ho avuto due buone partenze e poi ho preso il comando nel primo giro. Ho avuto un buon feeling con la moto e la pista più ci sono un sacco di amici qui e per vincere in Italia è qualcosa di speciale, è stato così buono!”

EMX250 Race 1 on Saturday started in dramatic fashion as riders piled up in both the first and second turn. Creymert Racing’s Kevin Horgmocame away unscathed and held the lead early but Honda Redmoto Assomotor’s Stephen Rubini moved to the premiere positionin the second lap.
Rubini led the way while the championship leader, Maddii Racing Husqvarna’sAlberto Forato, was back in around 4th. Forato made passes on both Rubini’s Honda Redmoto Assomotorteammate Pierre Goupillonand Horgmo to get into 2nd.
Horgmo fought the Italian back and led the next lap across the finish but then returned to 3rd another lap later. Forato was in pursuit of the lead and Rubini until the Frenchman lost the lead on his own accord.
Forato graciously accepted the gifted lead and never looked back taking the win by 11.6 seconds over Rubini. Horgmo took 3rd while Goupillon and Ghidinelli Racing Team’s Giuseppe Tropepe rounded out the top 5.
Today’s race 2 was led by Rubini after the start but he had Forato making quick passes behind him to apply pressure from 2nd. On the 2nd official lap Rubini was passed down the Pit Lane straight parallel to the start by Forato to the home crowd’s cheers but Forato then fell handing Rubini the lead straight back.
Forato got back up and immediately went back to work seemingly unphased taking the lead role back by the next time across the finish. Goupillon was watching the battle for the lead from slightly further behind in before eventually getting passed by Tropepe for 3rd position.
At the finish Forato carried on his dominant and perfect season with his 4th race win in 4 races and second overall. Rubini finish both second in the race and 2ndoverall while Tropepe took the final podium spot.
Alberto Forato: “For sure I feel very good because the home GP is always fun. Here there is a lot of fans and a lot of friends came too. I got 1st and 1st so it couldn’t be any better.”
EMX125 presented by FMF Racing was clear cut with Maddii Racing Husqvarna’s Mattia Guadagnini leading every single one of the 15 laps. F4E Racing KTM’s Guillem Farres Plaza was the closest to Guadagnini as he ran in 2ndfor the first 7 laps.
Team VRT KTM’s Tom Guyon was the man on a mission however as he came from 7thto take over Plaza’s 2ndposition at the halfway point. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Kay de Wolf was third until Guyon passed him on the way to 2nd.
When the checkered flag went out Guadagnini was the winner followed by Guyon, Plaza, De Wolf, and A1M Husqvarna’s Jorgen-Matthias Talviku.
Today the sound of two strokes brought life to the circuit for race 2 as the first event on track. The earlier winner, Guadagnini was off to another dominant performance, leading the first laps of race 2 ahead of De Wolf and WZ-Racing’s Simon Laengenfelder.
Laengenfelder got up to 2nd position with De Wolf dropping to third ahead of Guyon who went past both the next lap. Just as quickly as the #516 WZ-Racing machine slotted into 2nd it was shuffled back to 4thbefore returning to 3rd another lap later.
For the final 6 laps each of the rider in the top 7 held their positions meaning that Guadagnini scored the overall with 1-1 finishes and he extended his points lead in front of the home fans. Guyon and De Wolf meanwhile rounded out the podium going 2-2 and 3-3 respectively.
Mattia Guadagnini: “It was a perfect weekend, I had two good starts and then took the lead in the first lap. I had a good feeling on the bike and the track plus there are a lot of friends here and to win in Italy is something special, it was so good!”
