Dopo dieci stagioni nella classe MX1, la prima divisione del Campionato Mondiale FIM Motocross, convertita in ‘MXGP’ nel 2014, ma in sostanza le norme tecniche rimangono le stesse. Predecessore 2015 del YZ450FM era una quinta generazione completamente rivista dell’ammiraglia, moto ad iniezione della Yamaha off-road. La scommessa è stata vinta, la moto è stata una delle protagoniste principali della serie con diciotto round che visita sedici diversi paesi. Grazie ai dati raccolti dalla scorsa stagione, il Yamaha team della classe regina torna ancora più forte quest’anno.

After ten seasons the MX1 class, the premier division of the FIM Motocross World Championship, converted to ‘MXGP’ in 2014 but essentially the technical regulations remain the same. The 2015 YZ450FM’s predecessor was a completely revised fifth generation of Yamaha’s flagship fuel-injected off-road motorcycle. The gamble paid off, the bike was one of the main protagonists in the eighteen round series that visits sixteen different countries. Thanks to the collected data from last season, the Yamaha premier class teams come back even stronger this year.
