Brutte notizie dal fronte Ken Roczen, è lui stesso a comunicarlo tramite i social, si è infortunato nella caduta causa “esplosione” del mono ammortizzatore della sua Suzuki durante il Main Event a Nashville! La causa è dovuta ad un errato serraggio dei colpi e ti e la pressione dovuta alle sollecitazioni ha fatto eaplodere il mono( eaplodere in senso lato, perché si è smontato ed è fuoriuscito il gas e l’olio, la fumata è dovuta allo scarico caldo e il motore. In sostanza, Kenny è fuori e si spera possa rientrare per il prima possibile! Sotto le sue parole!

Si scopre che mi sono rotto il plateau della tibia, il piede e l’alluce.
Al momento non è necessario alcun intervento chirurgico, ma stiamo ancora raccogliendo alcune informazioni e ulteriori valutazioni.

Alright, after further evaluation it looks like I will be out for a little bit.
It turns out I broke my tib plateau , my foot and my toe.
No surgery is required as of right now but we are still gathering some information and further evaluation.

Brea, CA – H.E.P. Motorsports and Suzuki Motor USA LLC (Suzuki) announced today that Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki rider Ken Roczen will miss the remainder of the 2024 Supercross season due to injuries sustained at the Nashville round of the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series.
Roczen’s injuries were sustained to his left leg and foot. Medical evaluation indicated no surgery is required, but further evaluation and rest will be needed. With that Roczen will miss the remainder of the 2024 Supercross season.
Roczen was contending for the lead in the 450-class main event in Nashville when a rear shock failure caused Roczen to go down in the whoop section of the track, ending his evening.
Roczen, currently sixth in SX Championship points, has been a strong contender on his Suzuki RM-Z450, winning the Glendale, AZ round and also earning six podium finishes in the 2024 SX season.
Suzuki joins H.E.P. Motorsports in wishing Ken and his family a complete and speedy recovery, and anticipates his return later in 2024.
