Aggiornamento sugli infortuni: Alberto Forato – incidente in prova
Non è stato un inizio di stagione ideale per Alberto Forato, ha subito un’operazione poco prima della gara di apertura in Argentina ed è andato lì per provare a correre. Sfortunatamente, ha dovuto ritirarsi, ma sarebbe dovuto tornare al secondo round in Spagna.
Tuttavia, ha avuto un grosso incidente oggi (mercoledì) mentre si stava preparando per il suo ritorno alle corse.
Nella caduta ha subito la rottura di 8 costole e un polmone collassato, quindi rimarrà nella lista degli infortuni per un po’, il che è un vero peccato.
Il team Standing Construct Honda comunica la notizia
“Purtroppo Alberto Forato è caduto oggi mentre preparava il GP di Spagna riportando la frattura di 8 costole e il collasso di un polmone. È nell’ospedale di Herentals dove riceve le migliori cure. Quando piove, diluvia…”.
Sarà interessante vedere se la squadra ingaggerà un pilota sostitutivo o si concentrerà completamente sull’impressionante Pauls Jonass fino al ritorno di Forato.

Injury update: Alberto Forato – Big practice crash
It has not been an ideal start to the season for Alberto Forato. The Italian had an operation just before the opening round in Argentina and went there to try and race. Unfortunately, he had to pull out but was set to make his return at round two in Spain.
However, he had a big crash today (Wednesday) as he was preparing for his return to racing.
As a result he has suffered 8 broken ribs as well as a collapsed lung so he’ll be on the injury list for a while which is a real shame.

It’ll be interesting to see if the team sign up a replacement rider or fully focus on the impressive Pauls Jonass until Forato makes his return.
