UN INFORTUNIO METTE GUILLEM FARRES DI ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA SULLA 250SX EAST
IL Rookie spagnolo subisce un intervento chirurgico per la rottura del femore in seguito ad un incidente di allenamento in Florida
Guillem Farres, reclutato da Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing, ha riportato la frattura del femore in un incidente mentre si allenava in Florida martedì, richiedendo un intervento chirurgico e sfortunatamente interrompendo la sua campagna da rookie nel campionato AMA Supercross 2024.
Lo spagnolo è stato impressionante nei primi due round della serie 250SX East, finendo ottavo al debutto a Detroit e poi confermando quel risultato con il nono posto nel fine settimana ad Arlington.
Farres è arrivato per la prima volta negli Stati Uniti durante la stagione 2022 ed è stato una rivelazione all’aperto, prima di avere l’opportunità di unirsi a Rockstar Energy Husqvarna sulla FC 250 Rockstar Edition quest’anno e aggiungere il Supercross al suo programma per la prima volta.
Il ventenne si stava preparando per il Daytona Supercross di questo fine settimana quando si è verificato l’incidente. Ora è in programma un intervento chirurgico e poi inizierà a lavorare sul suo recupero, con ulteriori aggiornamenti che verranno rilasciati a tempo debito.

Sono completamente dispiaciuto che abbia avuto uno sfortunato incidente oggi durante i test alla Baker’s Factory. È non solo è un duro, ma è forte e lo sosterremo in ogni modo per riportarlo alle gare a fare ciò che ama.”
Al fianco di Malcolm Stewart con il Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team nell’ottavo round della stagione di questo fine settimana sul famoso Daytona International Speedway ci sarà Casey Cochran, il diciassettenne che gareggia nella categoria Supercross Futures.

INJURY PLACES ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA’S GUILLEM FARRES ON 250SX EAST SIDELINES
Farres first arrived in the U.S. during the 2022 season and was a revelation outdoors, before getting the opportunity to join Rockstar Energy Husqvarna on the FC 250 Rockstar Edition this year and adding Supercross to his schedule for the first time.
The 20-year-old had been preparing for this weekend’s Daytona Supercross when the incident occurred. He is now scheduled to undergo surgery and then will begin to work on his recovery, with further updates to be released in due course.
