Wildcat Race Team gear up

Entrambi i piloti del WILDCAT Race Team Lorenzo Locurcio e Nick Laurie si recheranno a Detroit per il primo round del campionato 2024SX East Coast 250.
 

È tempo di dare il via al 2024 per il WILDCAT Race Team con il round di apertura della 250SX East Coast! Questa sarà la prima gara SX in assoluto per il team dopo aver avuto un enorme impatto come miglior corsaro lo scorso anno nella serie AMA Pro Motocross. Ora è il momento di mostrare la stessa ambizione questo sabato, 3 febbraio, sotto le luci del Ford Field di Detroit, nel Michigan.

Lorenzo Locurcio torna al supercross dopo aver trascorso gli ultimi 3 anni gareggiando in EMX250 e MXGP in Europa. Per quanto riguarda il Supercross, Locurcio ha una vasta esperienza supportata da molteplici Top 10 nel corso della sua carriera. Ma nonostante la sua esperienza, questa sarà una stagione completamente nuova per il venezuelano poiché ora è pilota e proprietario di una squadra. È comunque super motivato per affrontare questa nuova sfida.

L’americano Nick Laurie farà il suo debutto professionale all’inizio della East Coast. Recentemente ha corso all’estero per ottenere ulteriore motivazione per questo fine settimana.

Lorenzo Locurcio #60: “Sono molto entusiasta di tornare di nuovo alla routine. Quest’anno la preseason è stata un po’ atipica per me dato che questa è la prima volta che sarò pilota e proprietario della squadra allo stesso tempo, ma sono entusiasta di correre questo fine settimana a Detroit. Il piano è migliorare settimana dopo settimana fino a raggiungere la mia forma migliore”.

Nick Laurie #526: “Sì, mi sento bene, ho avuto un buon pre-campionato e sono contento dell’opportunità di correre per Wildcat quest’anno, ho avuto l’opportunità di correre all’estero prima di fare il mio debutto qui, quindi penso che sarà giocare a nostro vantaggio”.

Wildcat Race Team gear up

Both WILDCAT Race Team riders Lorenzo Locurcio and Nick Laurie will make the trip to Detroit for the first round of the 2024 250SX East Coast Championship.

It’s time to kick off 2024 for WILDCAT Race Team with the opening round of the 250SX East Coast! This will be the first-ever SX race for the team after making a huge impact as the best privateer last year in the AMA Pro Motocross series. Now is the time to show the same ambition this Saturday, February 3, under the lights of the Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

Lorenzo Locurcio returns to supercross after spending the last 3 years competing in EMX250 and MXGP in Europe. As far as Supercross is concerned, Locurcio has a wealth of experience backed by multiple Top 10 throughout his career. But despite his experience, this will be a whole new season for the Venezuelan as he is now a rider and team owner. However, is super motivated to face this new challenge.

American Nick Laurie will make his professional debut at the start of the East Coast. He recently raced overseas to gain extra motivation for this weekend.

Lorenzo Locurcio #60: “I´m very excited to get back on the routine again. This year the preseason was a little atypical for me as this is the first time I will be a rider and a team owner at the same time, but I´m excited to race this weekend in Detroit. The plan is to get better week after week until reach my best form.”

Nick Laurie #526: “Yeah I’m feeling good I had good pre season and I’m happy with the opportunity to race for Wildcat this year, I got the opportunity to race overseas Before making my debut here so I think that’ll play into our advantage.”
