Presentazione di Chase Sexton, il campione in carica della 450SX e ultima aggiunta alla Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in vista della stagione del Campionato mondiale SuperMotocross (SMX) 2024.
Il 24enne inizierà a difendere il suo campionato AMA Supercross 2023 a bordo della KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION quando il cancello cadrà a gennaio ad Anaheim 1, PRONTO A CORRERE in una nuova entusiasmante era sia per lui che per la Red Bull KTM Organizzazione delle corse factory.
Sexton si è ufficialmente unito a KTM per partecipare al campionato AMA Supercross, al campionato AMA Pro Motocross e alla serie SMX Finals di alto profilo in un impegno pluriennale, adottando anche un sorprendente, nuovo numero di carriera a una cifra di quattro che entrano in questa fase successiva di la sua carriera professionale.
Ma prima, Sexton, cresciuto nell’Illinois, si schiererà con la targa numero uno nella difesa del titolo 450SX e si sta già mettendo al lavoro nel tentativo di iniziare la sua tanto attesa partnership con KTM ai massimi livelli insieme fin dall’inizio .
Sexton ha conquistato il primo campionato Supercross della classe regina nel maggio di quest’anno con sei vittorie nel Main Event al suo attivo e ha continuato a rivendicare la quarta posizione nella classifica finale 450MX, nonostante abbia saltato diversi round nella prima metà dell’outdoor.
Si è poi piazzato al terzo posto assoluto dopo il post-stagione SMX inaugurale per completare il programma di 31 round della maratona, vincendo l’evento di Charlotte di tipo ibrido per aprire i playoff e ancora una volta si è affermato come legittimo sfidante al titolo in ogni disciplina nella conquista del campionato.

Il debutto competitivo di Sexton e Red Bull KTM Factory Racing è previsto per il primo round del campionato AMA Supercross 2024 – ancora una volta raddoppiato come apertura della stagione SMX – ad Anaheim, in California, sabato 6 gennaio.

RED BULL KTM FACTORY RACING AND CHASE SEXTON OFFICIALLY UNITE FOR 2024 AND BEYOND
The 24-year-old will begin to defend his 2023 AMA Supercross Championship onboard the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION when the gate drops in January at Anaheim 1, READY TO RACE into an exciting new era for both himself and the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing organization.
Sexton has officially united with KTM to contest the AMA Supercross Championship, AMA Pro Motocross Championship, and high-profile SMX Finals Series in a multi-year commitment, also adopting a striking, new single-digit career number of four entering this next stage of his professional career.
But first, the Illinois-raised Sexton will line up with the No. one plate in his 450SX title defense and is already getting down to business in a bid to commence his highly-anticipated partnership with KTM at the highest of levels together from the outset.
Sexton clinched a first-career premier class Supercross Championship in May this year with six Main Event victories to his credit and went on to claim fourth position in the final 450MX standings, despite missing multiple rounds in the first half of the outdoors.
He then placed P3 overall following the inaugural SMX post-season to complete the marathon 31-round schedule, winning the hybrid-type Charlotte event to open the playoffs, and once again established himself as a legitimate title challenger across each discipline in taking the championship down to the wire.

The competitive debut of Sexton and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing is scheduled to take place at Round 1 of the 2024 AMA Supercross Championship – again doubling as the SMX season-opener – in Anaheim, California, on Saturday, January 6.
