Il team Standing Construct Honda MXGP annuncia tristemente che non parteciperà i prossimi due round del FIM Motocross World Championship in Indonesia.
Questa decisione arriva sulla scia di Brian Bogers che ha subito un infortunio alla spalla durante
la gara di qualificazione al MXGP della Germania a Teutschenthal sabato 10 luglio.
Bogers ha subito una pesante caduta mentre lottava per una posizione tra i primi 10 nelle qualifiche nella Gara di sabato pomeriggio, con conseguente lussazione della spalla sinistra.
L’olandese è stato rapidamente portato all’unità medica, dove gli è stata rimessa la spalla in sede sotto anestesia, prima di essere trasportato in ospedale per ulteriori visite mediche.
Mentre sabato non è stato possibile determinare la gravità dell’infortunio, Bogers ha consultato uno specialista della spalla nei Paesi Bassi che gli ha consigliato di dare ampio riposo alla spalla, in quanto sarà fondamentale per il processo di guarigione. Purtroppo, questo significa che Bogers non potrà partecipare ai prossimi due round della MXGP al Campionato Mondiale.
Alla luce dell’infortunio di Bogers e con Pauls Jonass che si sta ancora riprendendo da un infortunio al pollice sostenuto all’MXGP di Francia, trova il team Standing Construct Honda MXGP stesso impossibilitato a partecipare ai round MXGP in Indonesia. La squadra fa del suo meglio e augura una pronta guarigione ad entrambi i piloti e attende con impazienza un entusiasmante ritorno al Campionato Mondiale FIM Motocross il prima possibile.

The Standing Construct Honda MXGP team sadly announces it will not be attending the upcoming two rounds of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Indonesia.
This decision comes in the wake of Brian Bogers sustaining a shoulder injury during
the Qualifying Race at the MXGP of Germany in Teutschenthal on Saturday 10th July.
Bogers suffered a heavy fall while battling for a top-10 position in the Qualifying
Race on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the dislocation of his left shoulder. The
Dutchman was quickly taken to the medical unit, where his shoulder was put back in
place under anesthesia, before being transported to the hospital for further
examination.
While the severity of the injury could not be determined on Saturday, Bogers
consulted a shoulder specialist in The Netherlands who advised him to give his
shoulder ample rest, as it will be crucial to the healing process. Regrettably, this
means that Bogers will be unable to participate in the next two rounds of the MXGP
World Championship.
In light of Bogers’ injury, and with Pauls Jonass still recovering from a thumb injury
sustained at the MXGP of France, the Standing Construct Honda MXGP team finds
itself unable to attend the MXGP rounds in Indonesia. The team extends their best
wishes for a swift recovery to both riders and eagerly anticipates an exciting return to
the FIM Motocross World Championship as soon as possible.
