Ufficiale: Ken Roczen finalmente al Paris Supercross!
È una storia lunga ma bellissima. Ken Roczen non aveva 12 anni quando gli organizzatori della Paris-Bercy SX (allora) invitarono questo giovane prodigio tedesco per la gara 80cc (dominata da un certo Max ANSTIE)… L’anno successivo, pronto, si rompe un po’ il braccio giorni prima della fatidica data! Previsto di nuovo nel 2013, quando aveva appena vinto il suo primo titolo in America con la SX250, a Kenny è stato impedito di venire dal suo team… Ma questa volta, quasi dieci anni dopo, i pianeti si sono allineati e il Supercross de Paris potrà finalmente presentare la superstar planetaria “K-Roc” al suo pubblico di intenditori!
Per quanto incredibile possa sembrare, Kenny non ha mai corso un Supercross nell’Europa continentale e la sua venuta a Parigi è quindi un evento significativo! Presente a Cardiff qualche settimana fa (alla conquista del titolo mondiale di Supercross, vinto a Melbourne lo scorso fine settimana), ha solleticato il “mostro Tomac” lì sbattendogli in faccia la Superpole con il suo solito brio, lasciando nella manica l’arma segreta di un quadruplo salto che nemmeno il grande ET3 aveva osato tentare…
Roczen, la classe assoluta
Autore come al solito di strepitose partenze, Roczen ha acceso la serata e se finalmente non è riuscito a battere il serial champion del 2022 (titoli SX poi MX poi MXDN), intende prendersi la sua rivincita e impedire a “ET3” di completare questo mitico grande slam con una corona di re di Parigi! Qualunque cosa accada, trovare due mostri così sacri sulla pista dell’Arena Paris-La Défense, accompagnati dal formidabile duo Red Bull KTM – il doppio campione SX Cooper WEBB e il re di Parigi in carica Marvin Musquin – è un sogno per ogni fan del Supercross e questo il sogno si avvererà in occasione di questa 39a edizione del grande classico parigino…
“Bambino prodigio”
Più giovane vincitore di un Gran Premio (15 anni e 1 mese!) e più giovane Campione del Mondo di Motocross (17 anni e 4 mesi!) di tutti i tempi, il “meraviglioso” tedesco è emigrato in America all’età di 19 anni (non senza aver offerto alla Germania la sua unica vittoria al Nazioni, nel 2012) a stretto contatto con le star statunitensi e una disciplina a cui la sua eccezionale fluidità e tecnica di guida lo hanno predestinato: il Supercross! Il successo non tarda ad arrivare, vincendo il titolo SX250 “West” nel 2013 e salendo sul podio nella “categoria regina” l’anno successivo (non senza intascare il titolo MX)…
Una rimonta storica
Nuovo campione MX (e vice-campione SX) nel 2016, Kenny ha visto il suo destino cambiare attraverso due gravissimi infortuni nel 2017 e poi nel 2018. Aggiungendo un’incredibile forza di carattere alle sue eccezionali qualità di pilota, dopo quindici operazioni e minacce di amputazione al braccio, il pilota della Honda Red Bull fa la rimonta più incredibile nel Motocross (e probabilmente in tutti gli sport) tornando sui podi e vincendo ancora prima in MX, poi in SX (3a finale 2020, vicecampione 2021). Con 3 titoli statunitensi, 20 vittorie in SX e altrettante in MX, Ken Roczen è uno dei colossi dell’ultimo decennio del cross statunitense.
Battaglia degli chef a Parigi!
Roczen vs. Tomac vs. Musquin vs. Webb, è un’enorme lotta tra i boss e allo stesso tempo un’opposizione totale di stili! La classe, l’esplosione di velocità e la fluidità totale di KR94, la forza bruta e l’efficienza implacabile di ET3, la tecnica magistrale di MM25 e l’aggressività da bulldog di CW2. Sarà a Parigi, il 12 e 13 novembre. Se hai voluto assistere a questa magistrale partita sabato 12, è troppo tardi, l’Arena Paris-La Défense sarà sold out quella sera. Official: Ken Roczen finally at the Paris Supercross!
It’s a long but beautiful story. Ken Roczen was not 12 when the organizers of the Paris-Bercy SX (at the time) invited this young German prodigy for the 80cc race (finally dominated by a certain Max ANSTIE)… The following year, ready , he breaks his arm a few days before the fateful date! Scheduled again in 2013, when he had just won his first title in America in the SX250, Kenny was finally prevented by his team… But this time, almost ten years later, the planets have aligned and Supercross de Paris will finally be able to present the planetary superstar “K-Roc” to its public of connoisseurs!
As incredible as it may seem, Kenny has never raced a Supercross in continental Europe and his coming to Paris is therefore a significant event! Present in Cardiff a few weeks ago (on his way to a Supercross world title, won in Melbourne last weekend), he tickled the “Tomac monster” there by slamming Superpole in his face with his usual panache, leaving his sleeve the secret weapon of a quadruple jump that even the great ET3 had not dared to attempt…
Roczen, the absolute driving class
Author as usual of dazzling starts, Roczen ignited the evening and if he was finally unable to beat the serial champion of 2022 (SX then MX then MXDN titles), he intends to take his revenge and prevent “ET3” from completing this mythical grand slam with a crown of King of Paris! Whatever happens, finding two such sacred monsters on the Arena Paris-La Défense track, accompanied by the formidable Red Bull KTM duo – the double SX champion Cooper WEBB and the reigning King of Paris Marvin Musquin – is a dream for any Supercross fan and this dream will come true on the occasion of this 39th edition of the great Parisian classic…
“Wonder Kid”
The youngest Grand Prix winner (15 years and 1 month!) and youngest Motocross World Champion (17 years and 4 months!) of all time, the German “wonderkid” emigrated to America at the age of 19 (not without having offered Germany its only victory at the Nations, in 2012) to rub shoulders with US stars and a discipline to which his exceptional fluidity and riding technique predestined him: Supercross! Success was not long in coming as he won the SX250 “West” title in 2013 and climbed the podium in the “queen category” the following year (not without pocketing the MX title)…
A historic comeback
A new MX champion (and SX vice-champion) in 2016, Kenny saw his destiny change through two very serious injuries in 2017 then 2018. Adding an incredible strength of character to his exceptional qualities as a pilot, after fifteen operations and threat of arm amputation, the Honda Red Bull rider makes the most incredible comeback in Motocross (and probably in all sports) by returning to the podiums and winning again first in MX, then in SX ( 3rd final in 2020, vice-champion 2021). With 3 US titles, 20 wins in SX and as many in MX, Ken Roczen is one of the giants of the last decade of US cross.

Battle of the chefs in Paris!
Roczen vs. Tomac vs. Musquin vs. Webb, it’s a huge fight of the bosses at the same time as a total opposition of styles! The class, burst of speed and total fluidity of KR94, the brute force and relentless efficiency of ET3, the masterful technique of MM25 and the bulldog aggressiveness of CW2. It will be in Paris, on November 12 and 13. If you wanted to attend this masterful game on Saturday 12, it’s too late, the Arena Paris-La Défense will be sold out that evening. The next day, November 13 at 3 p.m., there are places left but they are going very quickly. You know what you have left to do !

Aussi incroyable que cela puisse paraître, Kenny n’a jamais couru un Supercross en Europe continentale et sa venue à Paris est donc un évènement considérable ! Présent à Cardiff il y a quelques semaines (en route vers un titre mondial de Supercross, conquis à Melbourne le week-end dernier), il y a titillé le « monstre Tomac » en lui claquant la Superpole au nez avec son panache habituel, sortant de sa manche la botte secrète d’un quadruple saut que même le grand ET3 n’avait pas osé tenter…
Roczen, la classe de pilotage absolue
Auteur comme à son habitude de départs fulgurants, Roczen a enflammé la soirée et s’il a finalement pas pu battre le serial champion de 2022 (titres SX puis MX puis MXDN), il entend bien prendre sa revanche et empêcher « ET3 » de compléter ce grand chelem mythique avec une couronne de King of Paris ! Quoi qu’il arrive, retrouver sur la piste de l’Arena Paris-La Défense deux tels monstres sacrés, accompagnés du formidable duo de Red Bull KTM -le double champion SX Cooper WEBB et le King of Paris en titre Marvin Musquin- est un rêve pour tout fan de Supercross et ce rêve deviendra réalité à l’occasion de cette 39ème édition de la grande classique parisienne…

Le succès ne s’est pas fait attendre longtemps puisqu’il remporte le titre SX250 « West » dès 2013 et monte sur le podium de la « catégorie-reine » dès l’année suivante (non sans en empocher le titre MX)…
Un come-back historique
A nouveau champion MX (et vice-champion SX) en 2016, Kenny voit son destin basculer à travers deux blessures gravissimes en 2017 puis 2018. Rajoutant une force de caractère hallucinante à ses qualités de pilote hors normes, après une quinzaine d’opérations et une menace d’amputation du bras, le pilote Honda Red Bull effectue le plus incroyable come-back du Motocross (et probablement de tous les sports) en remontant sur les podiums et renouant avec la victoire d’abord en MX, puis en SX (3ème final en 2020, vice-champion 2021). Avec 3 titres US, 20 victoires en SX et autant en MX, Ken Roczen est un des géants de la dernière décennie du cross US.
