A sedici anni, Valerio Lata è pronto all’esordio nel Mondiale MX2. Il pilota romano del team MRT Racing KTM sarà al via dell’ottava e della nona prova iridata stagionale, in programma il 5 (GP Turchia) e 8 Settembre (GP Afyon) sulla pista di Afyonkarahisar in Turchia.
Attualmente Lata, vicecampione mondiale nel Mondiale Junior 125 a Megalopolis, è secondo in classifica nel Campionato Europeo EMX 125 ed è leader del Campionato Italiano Junior 125.
Al Mondiale Lata utilizzerà la KTM 250 SX-F preparata nel reparto corse del team MRT Racing, e si schiererà col numero 23.

“Ringrazio il mio team per questa splendida opportunità, – le parole di Lata – correre al Mondiale è un sogno da quando facevo minicross. Sarà una doppia trasferta impegnativa, con due GP in quattro giorni, ma correrò senza pressione e cercherò di dare il mio meglio. Mi sono allenato qualche volta col 250 ed è una moto che mi piace molto, e ora abbiamo una ventina di giorni per fare ancora qualche test. Saremo all’ultima prova dell’Italiano Prestige a fine Agosto nelle Marche, ma se devo essere sincero non vedo l’ora di partire per la Turchia!”

IN TURKEY LATA IN THE MX2 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

At sixteen, Valerio Lata is ready for his debut in the MX2 World Championship. The Roman driver of the MRT Racing KTM team will be at the start of the eighth and ninth round of the season, scheduled for 5 (GP Turkey) and 8 September (GP Afyon) at the Afyonkarahisar track in Turkey.
Currently Lata, world runner-up in the Junior 125 World Championship in Megalopolis, is second in the standings in the EMX 125 European Championship and is the leader of the Italian Junior 125 Championship.
At the World Championship Lata will use the KTM 250 SX-F prepared in the racing department of the MRT Racing team, and will line up with number 23.

“I thank my team for this wonderful opportunity, – Lata’s words – racing in the World Championship has been a dream since I was doing minicross. It will be a challenging double trip, with two GPs in four days, but I will race without pressure and I will try to give my best. I have trained a few times with the 250 and it is a bike that I really like, and now we have about twenty days to do some more tests. We will be at the last test of the Italian Prestige at the end of August in the Marche, but if I have to be honest I can’t wait to leave for Turkey! ”
