Infront Moto Racing è lieta di annunciare che il Campionato Mondiale FIM Motocross si terrà in Svezia fino al 2022.

L’MXGP di Svezia è stato una parte importante del Campionato del mondo di motocross per molti anni, con il famoso motoclub BMK del circuito di Uddevalla che ha ospitato il suo primo evento del campionato del mondo nel 1958, che ha visto il pilota locale Lundin Sten prendere la vittoria nella classe 500 quel fine settimana .

Mentre il paese presenta molti circuiti fantastici, negli ultimi due decenni l’MXGP si è tenuto costantemente sulla pista veloce e dura di Uddevalla, che ha sempre fornito ai fan alcune delle migliori corse in ogni stagione del FIM Motocross World.

L’anno scorso l’MXGP di Svezia ha assistito ad alcune pietre miliari incredibili, quando Jorge Prado della Red Bull KTM Factory Racing ha siglato l’accordo per conquistare il suo secondo titolo consecutivo nel Campionato del Mondo MX2, mentre Roan Van de Moosdijk e Mattia Guadagnini hanno anche raccolto i loro dischi d’oro nell’EMX250 e EMX125 Championships.

Nel 2019, Glenn Coldenhoff e Tom Vialle hanno vinto rispettivamente in MXGP e MX2, quindi sarà interessante vedere se saranno in grado di tornare al top quando il campionato del mondo di motocross tornerà lì il prossimo anno.

Con tre titoli celebrati e alcune delle migliori corse assistite nel 2019, l’MXGP di Svezia ha avuto grandi scarpe da riempire questa volta. Sfortunatamente, poiché il mondo è stato colpito dalla pandemia COVID-19, il GP di Svezia non si è svolto a Uddevalla nel 2020 ed è stato posticipato al 2021.

Ora con l’estensione del contratto fino al 2022, MXGP e il motoclub BMK Uddevalla, non vedono l’ora di gareggiare ancora più grandi e migliori nei prossimi due anni in Svezia, mentre il paese accoglie nuovamente i migliori piloti di motocross del mondo.

FAENZA (Italy) 11 September 2020 – Infront Moto Racing is delighted to announce that the FIM Motocross World Championship is confirmed to take place in Sweden until 2022.

The MXGP of Sweden has been a big part of the Motocross World Championship for many years, with the famous motoclub BMK Uddevalla circuit hosting its first world championship event back in 1958, that saw local rider Lundin Sten taking the win in the 500 class that weekend.

While the country features many great circuits, in the last two decades MXGP has consistently been held at the fast-flowing, hard-pack track of Uddevalla – which has always provided the fans with some of the best racing each season that the FIM Motocross World Championship has visited.

Last year the MXGP of Sweden witnessed some incredible milestones, as Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado sealed the deal to take his second consecutive MX2 World Championship title, while Roan Van de Moosdijk and Mattia Guadagnini also picked up their gold championship plates in the EMX250 and EMX125 Championships.

In 2019, Glenn Coldenhoff and Tom Vialle were victorious in MXGP and MX2 respectively, so it will be interesting to see whether they will be able to get back on top when the motocross world championship returns there next year.

With three titles celebrated and some of the best racing witnessed in 2019, the MXGP of Sweden had big shoes to fill this time around. Unfortunately, as the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Swedish GP did not take place in Uddevalla in 2020 and it was postponed to 2021.

Now with the extention of the contract until 2022, MXGP and the motoclub BMK Uddevalla, are looking forward to even bigger and better racing in the next two years in Sweden, as the country welcomes back the best motocross riders in the world.
