Solo due giorni prima dell’inizio del campionato mondiale MXGP a MatterleyBasin, il team e l’ex campione del mondo Jordi Tixier annunciano la notizia. Il francese gareggerà nei round europei del campionato del mondo e nelle serie ADAC MX Masters per la squadra tedesca.
Andre Sarholz: “Dopo aver appreso la decisione di lasciare Jordi a piedi dalla sua vecchia squadra, siamo rimasti in contatto e abbiamo cercato di far sì che l’accordo avvenisse. Con il supporto dei nostri sponsor e, soprattutto di KTM, troviamo una soluzione. Crediamo nella sua forza e non vediamo l’ora di una stagione di successo in GP e ADAC. “
Jordi Tixier: “Tre settimane fa, mi sono trovato senza un passaggio (non commenterò questo argomento). Ma non sono il tipo di persona che si arrende, ho la fortuna di avere una famiglia di supporto e una solida squadra che crede e si fida di me. Senza ulteriori indugi, abbiamo alzato di nuovo la testa e messo al lavoro tutto ciò che dobbiamo fare per una posizione sulla griglia. Ringrazio il team Sarholz che ha fatto del suo meglio per essere in grado di prendermi a bordo nel 2020. Il lavoro svolto in queste ultime 3 settimane è enorme. Niente di tutto ciò sarebbe possibile senza il supporto della factory KTM Austria e la fiducia di tutti i miei fedeli partner personali e partner sportivi ”.

Just two days before the start of the MXGP world championship in Matterley Basin, the team can announce the collaboration with the former world champion Jordi Tixier. The 27 year old Frenchman will compete the European rounds of the world championship and the ADAC MX Masters series for the German team.
Andre Sarholz: “After the decision was made that Jordi quits with his old team, we stayed in contact and try to make the deal happen. With the support of our sponsors and, especially KTM, we find a solution. We believe in his strength and are looking forward to a successful season in GPs and ADAC.“
Jordi Tixier: “Three weeks ago, I found myself without a ride (I will not comment on this subject). But I’m not the type of person who gives up, I’m blessed to have a supporting family and a solid team believing and trusting in me. Without further ado, we raised our heads again and we put in work all we have to be in position on the grid. I thank the team Sarholz who did the best to be able to take me on board in 2020. The work done these last 3 weeks is humongous. None of this would be possible without the support of factory KTM Austria and the trust of all my loyal personal partners, and sports partner.”
