Dean Ferris sostituisce Aaron Plessinger nel team Yamaha Factory Racing

Mentre Aaron Plessinger di Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing Team continua a riprendersi dagli infortuni al tallone sostenuto all’inizio di quest’anno nel Supercross, il team ha annunciato che il pilota internazionale Dean Ferris parteciperà alla gara d’apertura del 2019 Pro Motocross Championship all’Hamptown Classic il 18 maggio.

Ferris è il Campione di Motocross Australiano in carica nella classe regina e ha aggiunto il suo nome ai libri di storia nel 2018 come il primo pilota a vincere tutte le 10 partite della serie. L’australiano è anche rimasto imbattuto nella caccia al titolo negli ultimi tre anni a bordo della famosa YZ450F di Yamaha. All’inizio di questa stagione, il 28enne ha sostituito l’infortunato Romain Febvre nel campionato del mondo MXGP. Dopo aver raggiunto i suoi obiettivi attuali nel campionato nazionale australiano, Ferris è desideroso di nuove opportunità all’estero per affinare ulteriormente le sue abilità di pilota di motocross.

Dean Ferris to Fill in for Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing Team’s Aaron Plessinger

As Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing Team’s Aaron Plessinger continues to recover from his broken heel injury sustained earlier this year in Supercross, the team has announced that international racer Dean Ferris will stand in starting with the opening round of the 2019 Pro Motocross Championship at the Hangtown Classic on May 18.

Ferris is the reigning Australian Motocross Champion in the premier class and added his name to the history books in 2018 as the first rider to win all 10-rounds of the series. The Australian has also gone undefeated in the title chase for the last three years aboard Yamaha’s popular YZ450F. Earlier this season, the 28-year-old filled in for the injured Romain Febvre in the MXGP World Championship. Having achieved his current goals in the national Australian championship, Ferris is eager for new opportunities abroad to further hone his skills as a top motocross rider.
