Simone Furlotti, un altro italiano schierato nelle Entry List del Mondiale Motocross 2019, purtroppo messo OUT da un infortunio alla spalla recente, ieri si è operato, ma ci ha detto che vuole riprendersi velocemente per dimostrare che aveva lavorato bene durante l’inverno, sotto un paio di battute.
Auguriamo a Simo un in bocca al lupo e un veloce recupero!
Ciao Simo come va con l’infortunio alla spalla e come stavi prima di questo?
Ciao, l’infortunio ci sta, sono cose che capitano, mi operano oggi (ieri pomeriggio 14/3/19 n.d.r.), come tempi di recupero dovrebbero essere due mesetti per risalire in moto e poi un altro mese per tornare in forma! Quest’anno, 2019 ho cambiato tutto, categoria, moto, team e anche preparatore atletico, mi sono trovato molto bene, allenandoci duramente tra moto e fisico, nelle prime gare internazionali stavamo ancora lavorando, stavamo seguendo il nostro piano per essere pronti al campionato italiano e la prima di mondiale in Inghilterra, ma due settimane fa mi è uscita la spalla. Salterò quindi la prima parte della stagione”.
Quindi ora come e quali sono i tuoi obiettivi futuri, sia nel mondiale MXGP che nel italiano?
Ora il recupero è la prima cosa, come ho già detto devo recuperare bene e voglio tornare dove ero rimasto, poi quando starò bene, so di potermi giocare il podio all’Italiano, mentre al mondiale spero di raccogliere dei punti.
Come ti trovi sulla 450 del team GBO di Matte (Matteo Bonini) e cosa ti piace di più di questa moto e col Team?
Mi trovo bene con la KTM e con il team, Matteo ha anche esperienza Mondiale e sicuramente porta consigli, solo in gara puoi capire come hai lavorato durante la preparazione e confrontarti coi tuoi “rivali”. Della moto invece, mi ha stupito la facilità nella maneggevolezza con un bel motore, mi sono adattato subito alla alla 450 e la confidenza stava aumentando giorno dopo giorno.
Parliamo un pò di campionati, ti piace il Supercross e se si chi tifi, mentre per il Mondiale come la pensi?
Il Supercross mi è sempre piaciuto tantissimo, lo guardo tutti i weekend anche grazie a voi di MxBars per pubblicate tutto e tutte le domeniche, appena mi alzo guardo tutte le gare da voi (grazie mille Simo, è un piacere saperlo n.d.r.), ovviamente nessuno mi deve anticipare il risultato!!! Credo che il campionato lo possa vincere Webb ma il mio preferito è Roczen, lo stimo tanto perchè dopo quello che gli è successo essere ancora li non è facile!!! Mentre in Europa per il Mondiale, sono Italiano e tengo per Tony Cairoli, è un punto di riferimento per tutti! 😉

Hi Simo how is your shoulder injury and how were you before this?
Hello, the injury is there, these are things that happen, I operate today (yesterday afternoon 3/14/19 n.d.r.), as recovery times should be two months to get back on the bike and then another month to get back in shape! This year, 2019 I changed everything, category, bike, team and even athletic trainer, I found myself very well, training hard between bike and physical, in the first international races we were still working, we were following our plan to be ready for the championship Italian and the world premiere in England, but two weeks ago I got the shoulder. I will therefore skip the first part of the season ”.
So now how and what are your future goals, both in the world MXGP and in Italian?
Now the recovery is the first thing, as I have already said I have to recover well and I want to go back to where I was staying, then when I feel good, I know I can play the Italian podium, while at the World Cup I hope to collect some points.
How do you feel about the 450 GBO Matte Team (Matteo Bonini) and what do you like most about this bike and with the Team?
I get on well with the KTM and the team, Matteo also has worldwide experience and certainly brings advice, only in the race can you understand how you worked during the preparation and compare yourself with your “rivals”. On the other hand, the ease of handling with a beautiful engine amazed me, I immediately adapted to the 450 and confidence was increasing day by day.
Let’s talk about some championships, do you like the Supercross and if yes, who do you think, while for the World Championship how do you think?
I always loved Supercross, I watch it every weekend thanks to you from MxBars to publish everything and every Sunday, as soon as I get up I watch all the races from you (thank you very much Simo, it’s a pleasure to know ed), of course none I must anticipate the result !!! I think the championship can win him Webb but my favorite is Roczen, I respect him so much because after what happened to him still being there is not easy !!! While in Europe for the World Cup, I am Italian and I care for Tony Cairoli, it is a point of reference for everyone! 😉
