Dopo un’ottima settima piazza nella manche di qualificazione, l’altro pilota Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing in MXGP, Max Anstie, non ha potuto disputare le gare della domenica a causa di una caduta occorsagli durante il warm-up.
Il team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing tornerà ora in azione per il quarto round del Campionato del mondo di Motocross FIM 2018, i prossimi 7 e 8 aprile ad Arco di Trento.
Earning a strong seventh place result in his qualifying race, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Max Anstie was unable to contest Sunday’s MXGP motos following a fall the Brit picked up during the warm-up session.
The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team will return to action at the fourth round of the 2018 FIM Motocross World Championship in Italy on April 7/8.
Max Anstie: “Il feeling per questo GP era buono. La pista mi piaceva, e avevo un buon passo nella manche di qualificazione. Ero impaziente di correre le due manche della domenica, putroppo però una caduta la mattina durante il warm-up ha cambiato le cose. Mi è andata bene a non farmi male seriamente, ma ho preso una bella botta e mi sentivo molto rigido: per cui col team abbiano preso la decisione di non correre. Questo ci costa qualche punto oggi, ma il campionato è ancora molto lungo. Ora ci sarà una piccola pausa, e conto di usarla per rimettermi in vista del GP in Italia.”
Max Anstie: “The feeling was good coming into this GP. I was comfortable with the track and my pace was good in the qualifying race. I was looking forward for the final motos but a crash during warm up on Sunday morning changed it all. I was lucky to avoid injury but I did bang myself uppretty well. Following the crash I felt stiff so together with the team we took the decision for me not to race the final motos. We might have lost the chance to collect some points, but this championship is still long. We now have a small break in the series and I will do my best to get back stronger in Italy.”
