Team HRC MXGP look ahead to Loket
Dopo una breve pausa estiva, la squadra HRC MXGP torna in azione questo weekend a Loket per l’MXGP della Repubblica Ceca.
L’anno scorso Gajser ha avuto una battaglia epica con Nagl dove la coppia ha combattuto a denti stretti per il complesso. Solo un piccolo errore è costato a Gajser la vittoria, ma anche con un secondo posto, è stato sufficiente per estendere drammaticamente il suo vantaggio in campionato che più tardi lo ha portato a guadagnare il suo primo titolo mondiale MXGP. Dal momento che ha lavorato per il suo miglioramento dal Portogallo per l’ultimo MXGP, lo sloveno può riuscire a combattere per l’ultima metà della stagione.
Bobryshev sta prendendo un po ‘di tempo per godersi nuovamente la guida e tornare dov’era. Ha partecipato al round tre dei campionati Estoni lo scorso fine settimana dove ha preso la vittoria. Ha lavorato duramente per tornare forte per il round 13.
Loket si trova ad ovest del paese ed è descritto come una pista d’argilla “vecchia scuola”. Ha ospitato 19 Grand Prix nel suo tempo ed è una pista popolare tra i piloti.
La qualificazione inizia alle 17:10 ora locale il sabato 22 luglio.
After a short summer break, team HRC MXGP returns to action this weekend in Loket for the MXGP of Czech Republic.
Last year Gajser had an epic battle here with Nagal where the pair fought tooth and nail for the overall. It was only a small mistake that cost Gajser the win but even with a second place finish, it was enough to dramatically extend his championship lead which later earnt him his first MXGP world title. Since his improvement in Portugal for the last round of MXGP, the Slovenian has been working hard on getting fit again to fight for the last half of the season.
Bobryshev has been taking some time out to enjoy riding again and to get his strength back. He took part in round three of the Estonia MX championships last weekend where he took the overall. He has been working hard in order to come back strong for round 13.
Loket is in the west of the country and is described as an ‘old school’ clay track. It has hosted 19 grand prix there in its time and is a popular track with the riders.
Qualifying starts at 17h10 local time on Saturday 22nd July.

Ho usato le ultime tre settimane per adattarmi con attenzione al ritorno più forte questo fine settimana. Ho trascorso un po ‘di tempo in mountain bike e ho appena goduto di allenamenti ottimi di nuovo. Loket è una superficie molto affilata ma mi piace molto come tracciato e l’anno scorso ho avuto una gara veramente buona con Max Nagl e spero che posso avere delle buone battaglie di nuovo questo fine settimana.
I have used the last three weeks to get fit with the focus on coming back stronger this weekend. I have spent some time out mountain biking and just enjoying training again. Loket is very slick hard surface but I really like tracks like that and last year here I had a really good race with Max Nagal so I hope that I can have some good battles again this weekend.

Mentre abbiamo avuto una pausa ho lavorato per ottenere la mia spalla più forte e trascorrere del tempo sulla moto di nuovo. Sapevo che dovevo ricostruire il muscolo di nuovo perché è stato così doloroso per le ultime gare, per cui avevo bisogno per lavorare. Ho corso nei campionati estoni durante la pausa e ho preso la vittoria e ho anche partecipato a una gara divertente solo per stare bene con la mia spalla e la moto. Loket non è la mia pista preferita, trovo le buche veramente dure, ma conosco bene la pista e devo solo avere una buona posizione anche questo fine settimana per alcuni punti di campionato.
Whilst we have had a break I have been working on getting my shoulder stronger and just spending time on the bike again. I knew I had to build up muscle again as it has just been so painful for the last few races which I needed to work through.I raced in the Estonian championships during the break and took the win and I also took part in a fun race just to get comfortable with my shoulder and the bike. Loket isn’t my favourite track, I find the bumps there really square but I do know the track well and I just have to get a good position again this weekend for some solid championship points.

After a much-needed break we return to Loket this weekend which has been on the calendar for many years now and is a track we have had some good results at. Tim had a tremendous battle here last year and we will hope he brings back that fight this weekend that we know he has. After making progress in Portugal, both Tim and Bobby have been training hard for this round. With less than six rounds left and now that they are over the worst of their injuries, they both need to give these races their all to salvage some vital championship points.
HRC MX2 welcomes Honda Racing Family member for Czech MXGP
Mentre il campionato mondiale di motocross arriva a Loket questo weekend, Cervellin è entrato a far parte della MX2 qui e avrà in parte il pilota EMX250 e membro della famiglia Honda Racing; Jed Beaton.
Jed Beaton si unisce alla squadra HRC MX2 per tre gp quest’anno tra le sue gare di campionato nella serie EMX250. Beaton, che correrà per Carglass Honda nella classe EMX250, quest’anno parteciperà con HRC al GP Ceco, Lommel e Assen. È una grande opportunità per l’Aussie che ha fatto il suo debutto in Europa solo quest’anno, quando Honda ha deciso di portarlo nella serie, fresco vincitore del suo titolo nazionale MX2 in Australia.
Cervellin è stato in visita HRC in Giappone durante la breve pausa estiva e da quando è tornato a casa è tornato sulla sua CRF250RW per prepararsi per il GP della Repubblica Ceca. La natura in pietra del circuito di Loket dovrebbe significare che Cervellin è un concorrente solido per questo fine settimana.

As the FIM world motocross championship heads into Round 13 in Loket this weekend, Cervellin is joined in MX2 by EMX250 rider and fellow Honda Racing family member; Jed Beaton.
Jed Beaton joins the HRC MX2 team for three rounds this year in-between his championship races in the EMX250 series. Beaton, who races for Carglass Honda in the EMX250 class, will be racing for HRC in Czech, Lommel and Assen this year. It is a big opportunity for the Aussie, who only made his debut racing in Europe this year when Honda decided to bring him into the series, fresh from winning his MX2 national title in Australia.
Cervellin has been visiting HRC in Japan during the short summer break and since he has returned home he has been back on his CRF250RW to prepare for the MXGP of Czech Republic. The stony hard packed nature of the circuit in Loket should mean that Cervellin is a solid contender for this weekend.
The MX2 qualifying race starts 16h25 local time on Saturday 22nd July.

Sono stato in Giappone nella pausa per incontrarmi con HRC che è stata un’esperienza veramente buona. Dalla mia visita in Giappone sono appena tornato per prepararmi al GP a Loket. Ho partecipato molte volte a Loket nei campionati EMX250 e poi l’anno scorso ho partecipato ai campionati del mondo MX2. Mi piace la pista, è dura e si adatta al mio stile.
I have been to Japan in the break to meet with HRC which was a really good experience. Since my visit to Japan I have just been back training to get ready for Loket. I have raced Loket many times in the EMX250 championships and then last year I raced there in the MX2 world championships too. I do like the track, it is hard pack which suits my style.

Sono davvero entusiasta di essere in sella alla HRC, perché è nota per essere una delle migliori squadre del paddock. Sono grato che la mia squadra Carglass Honda mi ha permesso di fare questo tra il campionato EMX250 quest’anno. Ho provato la moto questa settimana e mi sono sentito subito a mio agio, che è un inizio positivo. Questa sarà la mia prima gara in MX2, quindi non mi aspetto qualcosa di importante per la mia prima gara, ma ho aspettative e voglio segnalarlo e spero di migliorare ogni volta che vado in moto. Loket sembra una pista abbastanza buona, è un po ‘difficile e pietosa ma non mi dispiace così vediamo cosa posso fare questo fine settimana!
I am really excited to be riding for HRC as it is known for being one of the best teams in the paddock. I am grateful that my team Carglass Honda have allowed me to do this in-between the EMX250 championship this year. I got to test the bike this week and I felt comfortable on it straight away which is a positive start. This will be my first race in MX2 so I am not expecting anything major for my first race but I have got expectations and I want to tick them off and hopefully improve everytime I go out and ride. Loket looks like a pretty good track, it’s hard pack and stony but I don’t mind that so let’s see what I can do this weekend!

We welcome Jed Beaton to HRC this weekend who is currently racing for Carglass Honda in the EMX250 class. As he is already a member of the Honda Racing Family and whilst there is a break In the EMX250 series, this is a good opportunity for Jed to get a taste of racing in MX2 and to show the progression that other Honda riders are capable of. Cervellin has been training hard over the last two weeks to come back stronger after the short summer break. After this round we head into 2 months of back to back races so he needs to be as fit as possible to give the last half of the season a push.
