Arnaud Tonus corre con la 2018 YZ450F

Wilvo Yamaha MXGP è estremamente entusiasta di annunciare che Arnaud Tonus, che attualmente si trova al decimo posto nella classifica FIM Motocross World Championship, sarà uno dei primi piloti a pilotare la nuova YZ450F 2018. 

Loket, il circuito che ospiterà il Gran Premio della Repubblica Ceca in questo fine settimana, sarà la sede per questo momento iconico. Il terreno duro e liscio si lega perfettamente con lo skillset raffinato che Tonus possiede. Il 2018 YZ450F presenta un nuovo motore e telaio, così sarà il 4# solo nella sua carica verso il podio questo fine settimana.

Louis Vosters (Team Manager): “Sono molto contento che Yamaha Motor Europe ci ha dato la fiducia necessaria per iniziare a utilizzare la moto YZ450F 2018 a questo punto della stagione. Yamaha mette un sacco di sforzo per avere le moto 2018 già disponibili per noi. Hanno confidato un sacco di energia in questo insieme a diversi partner come Akrapovic, KYB e GYTR. La nostra squadra ha lavorato molto duramente per ottenere le moto pronte a livello GP per le prossime gare. Dal primo test, Arnaud Tonus è stato molto positivo di come la moto reagisce e la potenza di questo motore totalmente riprogettato. Siamo molto lieti di esserci dal prossimo fine settimana in Repubblica Ceca per il 13° round MXGP della stagione.”

“Sono contento di andare a correre con il 2018 YZ450F a Loket questo fine settimana. Ho provato ad usarla un paio di mesi fa e mi sono sentito subito bene. Da allora, non ho avuto troppo tempo sulla moto ma sono stati in grado di uscire qualche volta e mi sento davvero a mio agio. La mia velocità è buona e la moto si sente forte quindi sono fiducioso di poter fare bene “.

Arnaud Tonus to race 2018 YZ450F

Wilvo Yamaha MXGP are extremely excited to announce that Arnaud Tonus, who currently sits tenth in the FIM Motocross World Championship standings, will be one of the first riders to pilot the all-new 2018 YZ450F in anger.

Loket, the circuit that will play host to the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic this weekend, will be the venue for this iconic moment. The slick, hard-pack soil will mesh perfectly with the refined skillset that Tonus possesses. The 2018 YZ450F features a new engine and frame, so will only aid #4 in his charge towards the podium this weekend.

Yamaha put a lot of effort in to have the 2018 bikes already available for us. They put a lot of energy into it along with several partners like Akrapovic, KYB and GYTR. Our crew worked extremely hard to get the bikes ready at GP level for the next races. From the first test, Arnaud Tonus was very positive about how the bike responds and the power of this totally-redesigned engine. We are very much looking forward to the upcoming weekend in the Czech Republic for the thirteenth MXGP round of the season.”
