MONSTER ENERGY FIM MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS IN GLEN HELEN CANCELLED
MONACO (Principato di Monaco), 27 Settembre 2016 – Sig. Giuseppe Luongo, presidente Youthstream e il signor Bud Felkamp, Presidente della Glen Helen Raceway, hanno avuto un incontro presso il Monster Energy FIM Motocross delle Nazioni a Maggiora e di comune accordo hanno deciso di non organizzare la Monster Energy FIM Motocross delle Nazioni a Glen Helen nel 2017.
Glen Helen Raceway e Youthstream hanno lavorato in stretta collaborazione nel corso degli ultimi 2 anni e le due entità hanno investito fondi per l’organizzazione del GP degli Stati Uniti, ma, nonostante la qualità dell’organizzazione, l’ottima corsa e la copertura mediatica massiccia, la presenza del pubblico era molto più bassa del previsto e anche molto più bassa di quello che questo evento merita.
Per un evento così prestigioso merita e ha bisogno di una partecipazione di fans eccezionali, il rischio è troppo alto, questo è il motivo principale per cui si è deciso di comune accordo di non organizzare la Monster Energy FIM Motocross delle Nazioni nel 2017 a Glen Helen. Se la situazione cambia in futuro le due parti sarebbero ansiose di lavorare di nuovo insieme.

MONACO (Principality of Monaco), 27 September 2016 – Mr Giuseppe Luongo, Youthstream President, and Mr Bud Felkamp, President of the Glen Helen Raceway, had a meeting at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Maggiora and in common agreement they have decided to not organize the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Glen Helen in 2017.
Glen Helen Raceway and Youthstream have worked in close cooperation over the last 2 years and both entities have invested serious funds for the organization of the MXGP of USA but despite the quality of the organization, the excellent racing and the massive media coverage the fan attendance was much lower than expected and also much lower than what this event deserves.
For such a prestigious event which deserves and needs an outstanding fan participation the risk is too high, and this is the main reason why it has been decided in common agreement to not organize the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in 2017 in Glen Helen. If the situation changes in the future both parties would be keen to work together again.
