Con una mossa a sorpresa, Josh Hansen ha confermato che prenderà parte alla stagione 2016 del Monster Energy Arenacross Tour in Inghilterra, non partecipando così all’AMA Monster Enrgy Sx in America.

Chissà cps’ha spinto Josh a schierarsi in un altro Campionato Supercross, probabilmente il fatto di non poter utilizzare il suo numero 100, diventato un brand a cui lega il suo merchandising è una delle motivazioni, forse la sola, perché Hansen nel 2016 avrebbe dovuto correre con il 57, noi già avevamo alzato la questione, ma poco importa, la serie in UK è bella tosta e abbiamo anche qualche italiano al cancelletto, 10 tappe tutte tirate in due mesi!

Josh Hansen dichiara: “Sono entusiasta in  prospettiva di una nuova sfida e competere nel Regno Unito. So che i ragazzi di casa proprio non lo capiranno e questo mi farò motiverà ancora di più. Vedo la serie Arenacross come un luogo dove andare e io voglio essere una parte di questo. Mi sa che dopo questo, i cancelli si apriranno e la serie britannica sarà inondata di americani! “

Il Promotore della serie Matt Bates  ha poi aggiunto; “Siamo lieti di confermare che Josh contenderà la serie completa di undici turni e siamo sicuri che sarà esplosiva. La serie è ora piena di piloti di talento e non vorrei fare una scommessa sul risultato; è aperto ed è impostato per essere ultra-competitivo. Il fatto che Josh abbia scelto il nostro Monster Energy Arenacross Tour sopra la serie supercross americano è davvero la ciliegina sulla torta! “

“I’m pumped at the prospect of a new challenge and at competing in the UK,” Hansen said. “I know the guys back home just won’t get it and that will drive me on even more. I see the Arenacross series as going places and I want to be a part of that. I reckon that after this, the gates will open and the British series will be flooded with Americans!”

Series promoter Matt Bates of e22sports added: “We are delighted to confirm that Josh will contest the full eleven-round series and we’re sure it’s going to be explosive. The series is now crammed with racing talent and I wouldn’t like to place a bet on the outcome; it is wide open and is set to be ultra-competitive. The fact that Josh has chosen our Monster Energy Arenacross Tour over the American supercross series is really the icing on the cake!”
