Rockstar Energy Husqvarna continua con Anderson e Pourcel!!
Sembra che le offerte a lungo termine sia la moda del momento o degli ultimi due giorni, oggi è il turno di Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing che ha annunciato di aver firmato un prolungamento con Jason Anderson attraverso 2018 e con Christophe Pourcel fino al 2017.
“Sono molto entusiasta di questa opportunità con il team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna”, ha detto Anderson in un comunicato del team. “Per avere un vincolo con loro fino al 2018 rende facile concentrarmi sull’obiettivo di produrre risultati, e nient’altro.”
Anderson ha concluso sesto assoluto nella sua stagione da rookie nel Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, che comprende quattro podi. Nella sua prima stagione in 450 al Monster Energy Supercross, Anderson ha concluso al settimo posto assoluto con due podi.
“Jason e io abbiamo costruito un grande rapporto di lavoro e ci sentiamo allo stesso modo per quello che vogliamo realizzare insieme”, ha detto il team proprietario / gestore di Bobby Hewitt. Anderson è con la squadra da dopo il suo debutto pro nel 2011.
Come dicevamo il team ha anche annunciato una estensione con Christophe Pourcel per la stagione 2017. Pourcel ha firmato con la squadra prima dell’inizio del Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship 2015.
“Sono davvero entusiasta di continuare con il team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing e sono ansioso di iniziare il campionato in 450 supercross”, ha detto Pourcel. “Sono anche impaziente di correre con le nuove 2016 Husqvarna Motorcycles e portare ancora più successo al marchio e la squadra.”
“Credo davvero che lui ha trovato la sua casa con Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing”, ha detto Hewitt.
Nella sua prima stagione con il team, Pourcel è arrivato quinto assoluto nella 450MX. Con cinque podi nella sua prima stagione completa nella classe 450 negli Stati Uniti.

In addition, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing is equally as excited to announce the contract extension of the team’s newest member, Christophe Pourcel, through 2017. Husqvarna Head of Motorsports, Robert Jonas explained, “Having Christophe compete alongside Jason in Supercross is an important step forward. Christophe is a highly skilled racer, with championship winning experience to match.”
Since signing with the team in April 2015, Pourcel has challenged the top contenders and has had close battles, even landing on the podium. His time off proved not to be a factor as he makes a strong comeback to the world of motocross. “I truly believe he has found his home with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing,” said Bobby Hewitt. “Christophe Pourcel has not only proven to be a team asset on the track, but has also become an intricate part of the overall positive team personality at Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing,” commented Mike Kelso.
Christophe enthusiastic, stated “I’m really excited to continue with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team and look forward to starting my 450 Supercross career. I am also looking forward to racing the new 2016 Husqvarna Motorcycles and bringing even more success to the brand and team.”
