Stagione finita per Clément Desalle
La stagione 2015 è sicuramente da dimenticare il più velocemente possibile per tanti piloti e alla lunga lista degli infortunati, dopo esserci già entrato e uscito per riprendere al GP della Repubblica Ceca, ecco che Clément Desalle dice stop definitivamente. Dopo aver guidato il campionato all’inizio della stagione e mostrato una velocità di punta e regolarità che gli ha permesso di avere un ruolo nella lotta per il titolo mondiale 2015, Clément si è ferito alla spalla e del ginocchio il Sabato del GP di Francia e ha dovuto saltare 5 GP (al tempo stesso abbandonando ogni possibilità di essere in lotta prima di tornare due settimana fa a Loket e segnare un 3 ° posto incoraggiante.
Determinato a dimenticare al più presto questa stagione con l’amaro in bocca. Purtroppo, Clemente non ha preso la partenza della gara di qualifica. La Suzuki ufficiale è ancora ferma per infortunio alla spalla del pilota all’inizio della sessione di prove cronometrate e non ha gareggiato Domenica a Lommel.
Il team manager del Team Suzuki / Rockstar Sylvain Geboers ha dichiarato: Noi solo dopo l’arrivo del turno di qualifiche abbiamo appreso che per il Panda era probabilmente definitivamente finita la stagione. I suoi commenti hanno confermato di aver preso la decisione di avere un intervento chirurgico, questo significa essere fuori di nuovo in pista in questa stagione.
“Non ho avuto alcun problema a Loket“, dice Clement “, ma la condizione della mia spalla era qualcosa che mi riguardava. Qui a Lommel sono atterrato violentemente e ho sentito che la spalla si era slogata. Ora non sono più certo che possa essere abbastanza forte per guidare e so che ho bisogno di un intervento chirurgico. La stagione è finita. Sono molto deluso, ma ho solo una cosa da fare: pensare al 2016! ”
Così si spera di trovare Clemente la prossima stagione più forte che mai e le voci sono sempre più in Kawasaki, ma ancora è presto per dirlo!
DESALLE OUT FOR 2015
The latest outing of the FIM Motocross World Championship – and last of three remaining events in Europe until the flyaways in Mexico and USA – marked the final appearance this season for Clement Desalle who will undergo surgery on his right shoulder in the coming weeks.
After setting lap-times to secure third and then second positions in the two practice sessions this morning, Strijbos made an excellent start to dash into the lead of the 20-minute and two-lap qualification heat. The Lommel sand was rough and rippled and thoroughly battered thanks to the presence of four other European classes as part of the support programme.
Desalle took a rough landing during Timed Practice and immediately felt his right shoulder briefly dislocate; the same problem that led to a crash and injury at the Grand Prix of France. The Belgian has now been forced to take the heavy decision to have an operation to stabilise and fix the joint and the recuperation period means that he is highly unlikely to see competitive action again in 2015.
Clement Desalle:
“I did not have a problem in the Czech Republic but the condition of my shoulder was something that was at the back of my mind. I landed heavily after the table-top and hit the bumps and I felt it go. Now I cannot be sure if it will be strong enough or safe and I know I need some surgery. I was already disappointed about how 2015 turned out in France and now the season is over. I just have to think about 2016.”
