Petar Petrov confirmed with Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team
Monster Energy Team Kawasaki MX2 Racing è lieta di annunciare che Petar Petrov è stato confermato per altre due stagioni dopo alcune brillanti prestazioni da quando è entrato nella squadra due mesi fa.

Il bulgaro, appena ventenne ma già nella sua quinta stagione nel Campionato del Mondo MX2, è entrato nel team nel Gran Premio di Gran Bretagna per sostituire Dylan Ferrandis dopo che il giovane francese è stato ferito in Spagna. Petar subito sentito a suo agio con la Kawasaki KX250F-SR e ha segnato cinque primi risultati nei dieci nel corso degli ultimi due mesi, conclude con un quarto posto nella sua ultima gara a Teutschenthal. Petar ha perso tre gare della serie per recuperare da una clavicola rotta durante le prove, ma è pronto a tornare a correre questo fine settimana a Loket, nella Repubblica Ceca. Gareggerà con una mente chiara, ha firmato per le prossime due stagioni, entrerà nelle ultime sei gare della serie con grandi aspettative.
Petar Petrov: “Sono molto felice di essere in sella per il Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team MX2 per le prossime due stagioni. E ‘una grande squadra e mi piace molto stare con loro. La moto è buona e tutto è perfetto, mi piace il loro modo di lavorare e, naturalmente, si tratta di un team ufficiale. Sono molto grato per l’opportunità che mi hanno dato quest’anno di mostrare la mia velocità; purtroppo mi sono rotto la clavicola, ma ora sono pronto per Loket e spero di poter tornare dove ero prima dell’infortunio, cercando di salire sul podio. Sono sicuro che con una buona preparazione invernale posso mostrare veramente buona velocità e buone cose l’anno prossimo. Voglio solo dire grazie a Jean Jacques e tutto il team Monster Energy Kawasaki MX2 per tutto. Non vedo l’ora di finire bene questa stagione, e le eccitati prossime due stagioni con la squadra. ”
Jean Jacques Luisetti: “Siamo stati molto soddisfatti dei risultati e l’atteggiamento di Petar finora, e siamo molto lieti di firmare con lui per altre due stagioni. Ha dimostrato un grande potenziale dal momento che ha corso con la nostra moto, ha mancato un podio in Germania, quindi sono convinto che possa essere regolarmente sul podio in futuro. Sarà la prima volta nella sua carriera da professionista che rimane in una squadra per diverse stagioni, e, naturalmente, che lo aiuterà ad essere ancora più competitivo. Con Petar e Dylan Ferrandis, che ora è ricoverato in un noto centro sportivo a Cap Breton, avremo un giovane e forte line-up nel 2016. ”
The Monster Energy Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team is pleased to announce that Petar Petrov has been confirmed for two more seasons after some brilliant performances since he joined the team two months ago.
The Bulgarian, only twenty years old but already in his fifth season in the MX2 World Championship, joined the team at the British Grand Prix to replace Dylan Ferrandis after the French youngster was injured in Spain. Petar immediately felt comfortable on the KX250F-SR Kawasaki and has posted five top ten results during the past two months, culminating in a fourth position in his most recent race in Teutschenthal. Petar has missed three rounds of the world series as he recovered from a broken collarbone, an injury sustained whilst testing, but he is ready to return to racing this weekend at Loket in the Czech Republic. Fit and with a clear mind as he has signed for the next two seasons, he will enter the final six rounds of the series with high expectations.
Petar Petrov: “I am very delighted to be riding for the Monster Energy Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team for the next two seasons. It’s a great team and I really enjoy riding for them. The bike is good and everything is just perfect, I like the way they work and of course it’s a factory team. I am really grateful for the opportunity they have given me this year to show my speed; unfortunately I broke my collarbone but now I’m ready for Loket and I hope to be back where I was before I got injured, trying to get on the podium. I’m sure that with a good winter preparation I can show really good speed and good things next year. I just want to say thanks to Jean Jacques and all the Monster Energy Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team for everything. I am really looking forward to end this season well, and excited about the next two seasons with the team.”
Jean Jacques Luisetti: “We’ve been really happy with Petar’s results and attitude so far, and we are very pleased to sign him for two more seasons. He has shown great potential since he has raced our bike, and he narrowly missed a podium result in Germany so I’m convinced that he can be regularly on the podium in future. It will be the first time in his Pro career that he stays in a team for several seasons, and of course that will help him to be even more competitive. With Petar and Dylan Ferrandis, who is now recovering in a well-known sports centre at Cap Breton, we’ll have a young and strong line-up in 2016.”
