Nathan Watson, pilota del team Red Bull Ice One Husqvarna Factory Racing è caduto pesantemente nella prima sessione di prove libere dell’ ADAC MX Masters Series di Furstlich, Drehna riportando la frattura dell’omero. Per lui è previsto uno stop lungo perciò salterà almeno cinque round dell’MXGP.
Nathan Watson subisce un intervento chirurgico al polso
Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing Nathan Watson ha subito un intervento chirurgico oggi per riparare un osso fratturato al polso sinistro. Accusa l’infortunio durante la prima sessione di prove libere al ADAC MX Masters Series in Fürstlich Drehna, in Germania il Sabato, Nathan salterà GP di questo fine settimana del Trentino. I medici prevedono un tempo di recupero di 4-6 settimane.
Registrazione del quinto miglior tempo durante la sessione pratica, Nathan è atterrato di piatto su un salto, colpendo direttamente col terreno. L’impatto significativo ha lasciato Nathan con la frattura.
Ottiene un top 15 risultato in Argentina, Nathan stava iniziando a tornare al meglio dopo il suo pesante incidente nel round della serie MXGP in Qatar. Rimanendo positivo, Nathan si concentra su un possibile ritorno alle corse nella sua gara di casa a Matterley Basin MXGP, Gran Bretagna, il 24 maggio.

Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Nathan Watson has today undergone surgery to repair a fractured bone in his left wrist. Sustaining the injury during the first free practise session at the ADAC MX Masters Series in Furstlich Drehna, Germany on Saturday, Nathan will miss this weekend’s GP of Trentino. Doctors predict a recovery time of four to six weeks.
Recording the fifth best time during the practice session, Nathan landed flat over a jump, directly hitting a large braking bump. The significant impact left Nathan with the fracture.
Getting a well-deserved top 15 result in Argentina, Nathan was starting to return to his best following his heavy fall at the opening round of the MXGP series in Qatar. Remaining positive, Nathan is focused on a possible return to racing at his home MXGP event at Matterley Basin, Great Britain, on May 24.
