Savatgy Rides His Pro Circuit Kawasaki To Another Podium In Detroit

Savatgy rode his KX for the 3rd fastest qualifying time in practice and he backed it right up taking 3rd in his heat race. In the main, Joey got a good start exiting the first corner in 5th place, but right after the corner he blasted through the whoops and in corner 2 he dove to the inside and took second place. Savatgy was in the 2nd slot for over half the race. Hopes where high that he might have a shot a taking his first win in 2015, but in lap 8, Joey slipped back to 3rd and stayed there to the checkered flag.
“We’re back up on the box where we need to be.” Savatgy said after the Detroit main event on Saturday night. “We’re getting closer and closer and the gap we are losing by is getting less and less. I feel good and the bike is working amazing. Our Pro Circuit Kawaski is unbelievable!”
