James Stewart presente alla gara di Muddy Creek!

 Lo avevamo già anticipato, James Stewart Sembra che, nonostante il test positivo per un’anfetamine vietata al Supercross di Seattle 2014 e la “sospensione provvisoria” dalla FIM, il pilota del Team Yoshimura / Suzuki James Stewart sarà al cancelletto di partenza del 5° round del Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship in Tennessee sul tracciato di Muddy Creek Raceway. Questo è senza dubbio un enorme sollievo per i fan JS7. Sicuramente la vicenda porterà cons e ulteriori sviluppi, ma per ora, aspettiamo di vedere James Stewart dietro il cancello del Tennessee National. È possibile leggere ciò che MXSports rilasciato oggi sul tema qui sotto.

Una delle tante storie che circondano il ritorno della serie ‘previsto per Muddy Creek di Sabato si riferisce alle recenti notizie di Stewart. Nei giorni successivi alla sua 20a vittoria in carriera nella classe 450 ad High Point, al pilota Suzuki è stato notificato che i suoi risultati rispetto a una agenzia mondiale antidoping (WADA) sul test antidoping alla gara di Seattle della stagione FIM / AMA Supercross nel mese di aprile, sono risultati positivi per delle tracce di anfetamine, una sostanza che risulta nella lista delle sostanze vietate. Mentre la FIM provvisoriamente ha sospeso Stewart dal partecipare ai suoi eventi, il suo status per i NON affiliati a FIM come il  Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship è stato incerto. MX Sports Pro Racing, organizzatori del campionato, hanno rilasciato la seguente dichiarazione che conferma l’ammissibilità di Stewart in questo fine settimana al Red Bull Tennessee National:

“La sospensione provvisoria di James Stewart dalla FIM a seguito di una violazione antidoping presunta del 12 aprile 2014, non coninvolge in questo momento MX Sports Pro Racing o il Pro Motocross Championship Lucas Oil. In questa fase del processo di gestione dei risultati, la decisione di competere a livello nazionale resta con l’atleta, FIM e WADA, come MX Sports Pro Racing non è firmataria del Codice WADA e non ha l’autorità per imporre una sospensione provvisoria . Chi potrebbe sanzionare Stewart, e cioè la AMA Pro Racing, ha indicato che non limiterà Stewart nel competere nella prossima gara di National in Tennessee e rivaluterà la sua posizione in attesa della decisione finale della Corte Disciplinare Internazionale FIM (CDI). Se questa posizione cambia saremo informati. Fino ad allora, il signor Stewart è libero di competere senza restrizioni “.

It looks like, that despite testing positive for a banned amphetamine at the 2014 Seattle Supercross and getting a “Provisional Suspension” from the F.I.M, Yoshimura/Suzuki’s James Stewart will be on the line for round five of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship in Tennessee at Muddy Creek Raceway. This is no doubt a huge relief for JS7 fans. We imagine there will be more to come in this saga, but for now, expect to see James Stewart on the gate for the Tennessee National. One of the many storylines surrounding the series’ anticipated return to Muddy Creek on Saturday pertains to recent off-track news with Stewart. Mere days following his dominant 20th career 450 Class win at High Point, the Suzuki rider was notified that his test results from a World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) drug test at the Seattle stop of the FIM/AMA Supercross season in April tested positive for amphetamine, a banned substance. While the FIM provisionally suspended Stewart from competition at its sanctioned events, his status for the non-FIM affiliated Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship has been uncertain. MX Sports Pro Racing, organizers of the championship, have issued the following statement confirming Stewart’s eligibility at this weekend’s Red Bull Tennessee National:

“The provisional suspension of James Stewart by the FIM as a result of an alleged anti-doping violation on April 12, 2014, does not at this time involve MX Sports Pro Racing or the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. At this stage in the results management process, the decision to compete at a National level remains with the athlete, FIM and WADA, as MX Sports Pro Racing is not a Signatory to the WADA Code and does not have the authority to impose a provisional suspension. Our sanctioning body, AMA Pro Racing, has indicated that it will not restrict Stewart from competing in the upcoming Tennessee National and will reevaluate its position pending the final decision of the FIM International Disciplinary Court (CDI). If this position changes we will be notified accordingly. Until then, Mr. Stewart is free to compete without restriction.”
