Le decisioni sono molteplici, forse anche il suo ultimo infortunio, ma riuscì a tornare e passare altro tempo nelle gare e fare quello che più amava!!!

Ho deciso di andare in pensione a tempo pieno come professionista supercross e motocross. Dio mi ha benedetto questi ultimi 10 anni, in gara con i migliori piloti al mondo, guidando le migliori moto, sulle migliori piste, nella migliore serie, di fronte i migliori tifosi della terra, conoscere un sacco di grandi persone nella comunità moto. Ho avuto alcuni ottimi ricordi, questo è qualcosa che rimarrà attaccato a me per sempre. E ‘stata una buona corsa, ma il tempo per questa vecchia hillbilly è arrivato, devo allontanarmi e stare con la mia famiglia. Amo ancora guidare e fare gare, sicuramente mi mancherà la fila ad Anaheim a Gennaio e Hangtown a Maggio, ma le mie priorità sono a casa adesso. Il programma completo non è solo nelle carte per me. Questo non vuol dire che non farò qualche gara … una volta che sei un pilota, sarai sempre un corridore dentro di te. Sono eccitato per ciò che il futuro ha in serbo per me. Nel corso degli anni ho lavorato con alcune persone veramente grandi, senza il quale non avrei avuto il successo che ho vissuto. In nessun ordine particolare, vorrei ringraziare qui tutti:

I have decided to retire from full time professional supercross and motocross. God has blessed me these past 10 years, racing the best riders in the world, riding the best bikes, on the best tracks, in the best series’, in front of the best fans on earth, and getting to know a lot of great people in the moto community. We made some great memories, and that’s something that will stick with me forever. It’s been a good run, but its time for this old hillbilly to step away and be with his family. I still love riding and racing, and I will surely miss lining up at Anaheim in January and Hangtown in May, but my priorities are at home now. The full schedule is just not in the cards for me anymore. That’s not to say I won’t do SOME racing…once a racer, always a racer. I am excited for what the future holds for me. Over the years I have worked with some really great people, without whom I wouldn’t have had the success I experienced. In no particular order, I’d like to thank them here:
