KTM Sanziona il pilota ufficiale Jeffrey Herlings su questioni comportamentali!!

KTM Motorsports Departement ha annunciato l’intenzione di sanzionare il pilota factory MX2 Jeffrey Herlings per alcuni problemi comportamentali che si sono verificati nel corso degli ultimi due weekend di gara MX2 GP.

Pit Beirer KTM Motorsports ha dato l’annuncio questo Lunedi e ha detto che il ragazzo olandese avrebbe ricevuto una multa e un avvertimento!

“Il comportamento di Jeffrey era inaccettabile, vogliamo far capire che era sotto pressione al momento e speriamo che questa sarà una lezione importante per lui e lo aiuterà nel suo futuro come pilota ufficiale”. Beirer ha aggiunto che l’azienda ha le sanzioni sono state necessarie per inviare un segnale forte al pilota KTM, ma anche per mostrare rispetto nei confronti della squadra e rispetta i concorrenti del campionato.

Herlings ha anche detto che gli dispiaceva e che egli ha riconosciuto gli incidenti che lo hanno messo in cattiva luce. “Mi rendo conto che il mio comportamento era fuori controllo e accetto le sanzioni”, ha detto. “Devo ricordare che sono un modello per gli aspiranti piloti giovani e dovrei comportarmi in un modo rispettoso come persona e come atleta. Per questo motivo ho chiesto KTM di donare i soldi dalla mia multa in beneficenza ai bambini. “

Herlings, che attualmente guida il campionato MX2, ha detto che avrebbe cercato di far fronte ad eventuali ulteriori incidenti da essere meno testardo ed emotivo. Ha detto che in futuro farà del suo meglio per comportarsi in modo civile e mettersi in una posizione di pilota ufficiale in una delle squadre più riconosciute di professionisti dello sport.

La direzione di gara ha dato una multa a Jeffrey Herlings per comportamento inaccettabile durante un’intervista TV dal vivo dopo la seconda gara. Jeffrey Herlings ha ricevuto la multa massima ai sensi della disciplinare e codice di arbitrato della FIM (3000€). Il pilota della Yamaha Dixon ha ricevuto un messaggio di avviso.

KTM sanctions its factory rider
Today, KTM Motorsports Department has announced that they intend to sanction MX2 factory rider Jeffrey Herlings over certain behavioral issues that occurred during the past two MX2 GP race weekends.

Head of KTM Motorsports Pit Beirer made the announcement on Monday and said the Dutch teenager would receive a fine and a warning:
“While Jeffrey’s behavior was unacceptable we do understand that he was under pressure at the time and we hope that this will be a valuable lesson for him and will help him in his future as a factory rider.” Beirer added that the company felt the sanctions were necessary to send a strong signal to the KTM rider, but also to show respect towards the team’s well-respected competitors in the championship.

Herlings also said he was sorry and that he recognized that the incidents had shown him in a bad light. “I realize that my behavior was out of line and I accept the sanctions,” he said. “I have to remember that I’m a role model for aspiring young riders and I should to behave in a way that they respect me as a person as well as an athlete. Because of this I have asked KTM to donate the money from my fine to an appropriate children’s charity.”

Herlings, who currently leads the MX2 championship, said he would try to deal with any further incidents by being less headstrong and emotional. He said in future he would do his best to behave in way that reflects his position as factory rider in one of the sport’s most recognized professional teams.
