Beta MRT svela la formazione piloti MXGP 2025
Tutto pronto per il progetto Beta nel Motocross World Championship, che nel 2025 sarà al suo quinto anno. Nella prossima stagione sulla Beta RX 450 del Beta MRT Team ci saranno ancora due piloti, Ben Watson come negli anni scorsi e Tom Koch, che è una new entry per Beta!
Tom Koch, pilota tedesco ventiseienne, ottiene la sua prima possibilità come pilota ufficiale nel Beta MRT Team e tutti si aspettano molto da lui. Ha già dichiarato di essere determinato a fare un forte ritorno dalla stagione appena conclusa, dove è riuscito a correre solo undici GP su venti.
BEN WATSON:
‘Il 2025 sarà la mia terza stagione con Beta. Ovviamente non vedo l’ora di correre di nuovo, ho un ottimo feeling con tutto il gruppo in factory e con il MRT Racing Team. Il 2024 stava andando bene, prima del mio infortunio. Ma ora, dopo un periodo di riposo e recupero, sono pronto a ripartire. Beta ha fatto un bel passo avanti sulla moto e dopo un paio di giorni di test posso dire che c’è stato un miglioramento significativo e sono fiducioso. Ora è il momento di iniziare a lavorare per il 2025, il mio piano è di concentrarmi sulla mia velocità e migliorare le mie partenze e poi credo davvero di poter essere competitivo.
TOM KOCH:
Questa è l’occasione che aspettavo da diversi anni ormai, e cercherò di sfruttarla al meglio! Ora che ho conosciuto il team e la moto sono ancora più emozionato per una stagione piena di soddisfazioni. […] Ero molto curioso di guidare una Beta… Sono rimasto sorpreso perché mi sono sentito subito bene, abbiamo solo adattato i “comandi” e le sospensioni al mio stile personale e mi è piaciuta molto. È facile da gestire e compatta e le prime impressioni in sella sono state molto positive. È anche molto interessante prendere parte allo sviluppo di una moto, c’è così tanto da imparare. Voglio migliorare e diventare migliore, per lottare con più costanza per la top ten.

Beta MRT reveal 2025 MXGP rider line up
It’s all go in the Beta project in the Motocross World Championship, which in 2025 will be in its fifth year. In the coming season on the Beta RX 450 of the Beta MRT Team there will still be two riders, Ben Watson as in the last years and Tom Koch, who is a new entry for Beta!
Tom Koch, a twenty-six-year-old German rider, gets his first chance as an official rider in the Beta MRT Team and everybody is expecting a lot from him. He has already stated that he is determined to make a strong comeback from the season just ended, where he only managed to race eleven GPs out of twenty.
BEN WATSON:
‘2025 will be my third season with Beta. Obviously I am looking forward to racing again, I have a great feeling with the whole group in the factory and the MRT Racing Team. 2024 was going well, before my injury. But now, after a rest and recovery period, I am ready to start again. Beta has made a good step forward on the bike and after a couple of days of testing I can say that there has been a significant improvement and I am confident. Now it’s time to start working for 2025, my plan is to focus on my speed and improve my starts and then I really believe I can be competitive.
TOM KOCH:
This is the chance I have been waiting for for several years now, and I will try to make the most of it! Now that I have got to know the team and the bike I am even more excited about a season full of satisfaction. […] I was very curious to ride a Beta… I was surprised because I felt good right away, we just adjusted the ‘controls’ and the suspension to my personal style and I really liked it. It’s easy to handle and compact and the first impressions when riding it were very positive. It’s also very interesting to take part in the development of a bike, there’s so much to learn. I want to improve and become better, to fight more consistently for the top-ten.
