Pronte a scendere in pista e a lasciarsi indietro le rivali, le KTM 450 SX-F e KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION 2025 sono quanto di meglio si possa desiderare oggi da una moto da competizione.

Realizzate su base 250 SX-F e 450 SX-F, le nuove FACTORY EDITION sono caratterizzate da una splendida livrea Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, del tutto simile a quella portata in gara da fenomeni dell’AMA Supercross che rispondono al nome di Chase Sexton, Aaron Plessinger, Tom Vialle e Julien Beaumer.

Entrambe le moto sono equipaggiate con potenti e leggeri motori monocilindrici che garantiscono prestazioni al top e intervalli di manutenzione più lunghi rispetto al passato. Il “pacchetto” comprende inoltre il sistema di gestione del motore EMS perfezionato, il corpo farfallato Keihin da 44 mm, il cambio Pankl Racing a 5 rapporti con Quickshifter di serie.

I telai in acciaio al Cromo Molibdeno saldati a robot e verniciati a polvere in arancione rispondono a parametri precisi di flessibilità longitudinale e torsionale e garantiscono al pilota un feedback eccezionale, grande assorbimento dell’energia, fiducia in curva e un’impressionante stabilità in accelerazione come in frenata. L’intera struttura è stata sviluppata per garantire alle moto un miglior comportamento anti-squat, complice anche il leggero telaietto posteriore in alluminio.

Il reparto sospensioni, come per tutte le SX, è composto da una forcella WP XACT da 48mm con tecnologia AER completamente regolabile, alla quale è abbinato un mono WP XACT anch’esso completamente regolabile senza attrezzi.

Le moto sono poi equipaggiate con piastre forcella in alluminio fresate CNC e anodizzate in arancione, manubrio Neken, freni e frizione Brembo, terminale di scarico AKRAPOVIČ “SLIP-ON LINE, cover della cassa filtro ventilata, copertina della sella Factory Selle Dalla Valle dotata di coste antiscivolo cucite trasversalmente, protezioni del telaio arancioni Factory, paramotore Factory a 4 viti rinforzato in carbonio, coperchio frizione Hinson ricavato dal pieno, dispositivo del precarico forcella Factory e manopole ODI grigie, morbide, belle e al tempo stesso funzionali.

Altri miglioramenti riguardano il set di ruote DID ad alta resistenza con mozzi lavorati CNC anodizzati arancione, la corona orange, la catena con finitura dorata e gli pneumatici Dunlop GEOMAX MX34. Sul fronte delle dotazioni elettroniche da segnalare il selettore di mappe dal quale è possibile gestire anche il Traction Control, il Launch Control e il Quickshifter; inoltre, su entrambi i modelli sono installate la Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) e il componente del GPS annegato nel parafango anteriore, che abbinati all’app KTMConnect consentono di “cucirsi addosso” queste incredibili moto da competizione.

Ciliegina sulla torta, per i fan dell’AMA Supercross, sulle KTM 250 e 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION 2025 è possibile personalizzare ulteriormente l’estetica con il numero #1 di Tom Vialle, il #4 di Chase Sexton o con il #7 portato in gara da Aaron Plessinger.

The 2025 line-up carries the latest race look and graphics for the new season and with choices between #4 (Sexton) #7 (Plessinger) or #1 (Vialle) for the KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITIONs respectively. Both 2025 KTM FACTORY EDITIONs are based on the technical platform that has won world championships, a 250SX title, Grands Prix, Main Events and banked a host of podium trophies with a wide range of different athletes and riding styles. The 2025 creations will be the last KTM FACTORY EDITIONs of this current SX-F generation.

The KTM FACTORY EDITIONs feature light, compact and advanced single cylinder mass centralized engines. Cylinder, cylinder head, piston and crankshaft development ensure resistant, smooth, torquey, and reliable power output with longer service intervals. The motor package for both models include an Akrapovič slip-on muffler, fully refined EMS and a 44 mm Keihin throttle body as well as Pankl Racing 5-speed gearboxes with quickshifter.

The robot-wielded steel frames adhere to precise parameters of longitudinal and torsional flex for exceptional rider feedback, energy absorption, cornering confidence and straight-line stability for acceleration and braking. The structure is light and orientated around the anti-squat concept for a distinctive and effective handling sensation, thanks also to the light aluminum subframe. The chassis benefits from the latest spec, fully adjustable WP XACT suspension (48 mm AER split air forks and 300 mm dual compression control tool-free rear shock with higher ground clearance for the linkage). The chassis hoists the 7.2 Liter (1.9 gallon) tank and also supports the carefully crafted rider triangle for ergonomics; permitting close control and grip of the bike in any condition and for a wide array of obstacles.
