LONDRA, 4 dicembre 2024 – Il FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) è pronto a fare la storia nel 2025, annunciando Buenos Aires, Argentina, e Londra, Regno Unito come due città ospitanti per il calendario della prossima stagione. Buenos Aires è destinata a diventare la prima tappa latinoamericana della WSX, mentre porterà anche il campionato a Londra per la prima volta.

Queste rivoluzionarie aggiunte al calendario WSX evidenziano l’impegno di SX Global nell’espandere il supercross agli appassionati di sport motoristici in tutto il mondo.

In collaborazione con il rinomato promotore di sport motoristici EDV Entertainment di Buenos Aires, WSX porterà il suo elettrizzante campionato nella capitale argentina, consolidando ulteriormente la posizione del paese come fulcro per gli sport motoristici di livello mondiale. L’attesissimo evento si svolgerà in un nuovo stadio all’avanguardia nel centro di Buenos Aires, la cui apertura è prevista per l’anno prossimo.

Programmato come una delle prime tappe della stagione 2025, l’evento di Buenos Aires unirà l’energia della città all’adrenalina del supercross, segnando una pietra miliare per la portata globale di questo sport. L’annuncio arriva mentre cresce l’attesa per la finale di stagione della WSX all’Etihad Arena di Abu Dhabi, mercoledì 4 dicembre, dove saranno incoronati i campioni della WSX, della SX2 e a squadre. Dopo l’intensa competizione a Vancouver e un’emozionante doppia sfida a Perth, la resa dei conti del campionato vede le leggende Eli Tomac e Ken Roczen lottare per la gloria della WSX, mentre Shane McElrath guida la corsa al titolo della SX2 dopo una stagione dominante.

LONDON, 4 December 2024 – The FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) is set to make history in 2025, announcing Buenos Aires, Argentina, and London, UK as two host cities for next season’s calendar. Buenos Aires is set to become WSX’s first-ever Latin American stop, while it will also bring the championship to London for the first-time too.

These groundbreaking additions to the WSX calendar highlights SX Global’s commitment to expanding supercross to passionate motorsport fanbases worldwide.

Partnering with renowned motorsport promoter EDV Entertainment in Buenos Aires, WSX will bring its electrifying championship to the Argentine capital, further solidifying the country’s position as a hub for world-class motorsport. The highly anticipated event will take place at a new state-of-the-art stadium in central Buenos Aires, due to open next year.

Slated as one of the first stops on the 2025 season, the Buenos Aires event will unite the energy of the city with the adrenaline of supercross, marking a milestone for the sport’s global reach. EDV Entertainment, known for its success with FIM Sand Races World Cup and Endurocross events in Argentina, promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans and athletes alike.
