AGGIORNAMENTO: Team Netherlands cambia pilota per l’MXoN 2024
La selezione olandese per il Motocross delle Nazioni (MXoN) sta subendo un cambiamento.
Il pilota MXGP Glenn Coldenhoff partirà il 5 e 6 ottobre al posto dell’attuale infortunato Calvin Vlaanderen.
Durante il round dell’MXGP Arnhem, Vlaanderen si è infortunato gravemente e ha dovuto saltare anche il Gran Premio di Svizzera. Ora che l’MXoN si avvicina rapidamente, è stato deciso, in consultazione, di sostituire il suo posto in modo diverso. Ci auguriamo che Calvin si riprenda rapidamente, che stava avendo un’eccellente stagione al massimo livello del Campionato del mondo.
Il posto vacante sarà, come detto, preso da Glenn Coldenhoff. Il pilota ufficiale Fantic è un’aggiunta molto forte al Team NL, che comprende anche Jeffrey Herlings e Kay de Wolf. Nell’edizione MXoN del 2019, che è stata d’oro per i Paesi Bassi, Glenn ha vinto entrambe le manche, una ripetizione dell’anno precedente a RedBud.

UPDATE: The Netherlands make MXoN 2024 rider change
The Dutch selection for the Motocross of Nations (MXoN) is undergoing a change.
MXGP rider Glenn Coldenhoff will start on October the 5th and 6th in place of the currently injured Calvin Vlaanderen.
During the first round of MXGP Arnhem, Vlaanderen injured himself so badly that he had to skip the Grand Prix of Switzerland. Now that the MXoN is fast approaching, it has been decided in consultation to fill his place differently. We hope for a quick recovery from Calvin, who was having an excellent season at the highest World Championship level.
The vacant spot will, as mentioned, be taken by Glenn Coldenhoff. The Fantic factory rider is a very strong addition to TeamNL, which also consists of Jeffrey Herlings and Kay de Wolf. In the 2019 MXoN edition, which was golden for the Netherlands, Glenn won both heats, a repeat of the previous year in RedBud.
