Dopo il brutto incidente iniziale all’MXGP di Francia, la stella della JK Racing Isak Gifting ha ora confermato di aver subito una frattura alla mano. Nonostante ciò, ha combattuto coraggiosamente la barriera del dolore per correre il Campionato Italiano nel fine settimana e mantenere la tabella rossa. Ecco la sua dichiarazione.

“Abbiamo mantenuto la tabella rossa in sella con una mano rotta”, ha detto. “L’incidente alla partenza in Francia lo scorso fine settimana ha provocato la frattura della mano. Sei giorni dopo ho deciso di partecipare al terzo round del Campionato Italiano per recuperare punti. Rimango il leader del campionato con il quinto posto assoluto questo fine settimana. Sembrava il 2 x 30 minuti più lungo di sempre. Grazie Luca Sterlino per il trattamento di questa settimana per farmi arrivare alla gara. Adesso dovrò aspettare un paio di settimane per curarmi la mano, ma il campionato è vivo, a presto”.

After his nasty start crash at the MXGP of France, JK Racing star Isak Gifting has now confirmed he suffered a broken hand. Despite this, he bravely battled the pain barrier to race the Italian Championship at the weekend to retain the red plate. Here’s his statement.

“We kept the red plate riding with a broken hand,” he said. “The start crash in France last weekend resulted in a fractured hand. Six days later I decided to ride round three of the Italian Championship to salvage points. I remain the championship leader with fifth overall this weekend. Felt like the longest 2 x 30min ever. Thanks Luca Sterlino for the treatment this week to get me to the race. I will now have to sit out a couple weeks to heal my hand, but the championship is alive, see you soon.”
