SX Global signs new 10-year deal with FIM to promote the World Supercross Championship

SX Global firma un nuovo accordo decennale con la FIM per promuovere il campionato mondiale Supercross
 
La Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), l’organo di governo globale delle corse motociclistiche, ha annunciato che SX Global (SXG) continuerà a promuovere il Campionato Mondiale FIM Supercross (WSX) per i prossimi 10 anni, fino al 2033. La partnership include possibilità di un ulteriore decennio.

Dopo aver ottenuto un contratto iniziale di 10 anni nel 2021, SX Global ha subito un cambio di proprietà nel 2023, con l’arrivo di Kyril Louis-Dreyfus e Juan Sartori, noti professionisti del business sportivo.

A partire dal 2024, la FIM WSX entrerà in nuovi territori, aprendo la strada allo sport in più continenti. Gli eventi presenteranno roster di piloti costellati di stelle, incluso il ritorno del due volte campione Ken Roczen mentre cerca di difendere il suo titolo FIM WSX.
 
 

Jorge Viegas, Presidente della FIM, ha dichiarato: “La FIM ritiene che SX Global abbia l’esperienza e il know-how per offrire un campionato mondiale Supercross di prima classe nel futuro. La loro visione è davvero impressionante e il successo a lungo termine di questa serie è in mani sicure”.

Il co-proprietario di SX Global, Kyril Louis-Dreyfus, ha aggiunto: “Vorrei trasmettere la mia sincera gratitudine alla FIM, in particolare al presidente Jorge Viegas e al consiglio di amministrazione della FIM, per averci affidato i prossimi 10 anni del campionato mondiale FIM Supercross . Non vediamo l’ora di continuare ad espandere e promuovere la FIM WSX, mentre cerchiamo modi innovativi ed entusiasmanti per portare lo sport alla fedele base di fan esistente, accogliendo al contempo nuovo pubblico da tutto il mondo”.

SX Global svelerà ufficialmente i piani per il prossimo Campionato mondiale FIM Supercross 2024 nelle prossime settimane.

SX Global signs new 10-year deal with FIM to promote the World Supercross Championship
 

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the global governing body of motorcycle racing, has announced that SX Global (SXG) will continue to promote the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) for the next 10 years, until 2033. The partnership includes the option of an additional decade.

After being awarded an initial 10-year deal in 2021, SX Global underwent a change of ownership in 2023, with the arrival of Kyril Louis-Dreyfus and Juan Sartori, well-known sports business professionals.

Starting from 2024, the FIM WSX will enter new territories, breaking ground in the sport across multiple continents. Events will feature star-studded rider rosters, including the return of two-time champion Ken Roczen as he looks to defend his FIM WSX title.
