LANCIO DEL KAWASAKI RACING TEAM MXGP 2024: “LASCIA CHE I RISULTATI E LE PRESTAZIONI DELLA MOTO FACCIANO PARLARE”
Il 2024 segna la terza stagione in cui la coppia scandinava composta dal manager, Antti Pyrhönen, e dal capo squadra, Kimi Raikkonen, schiera il Kawasaki Racing Team nella MXGP per conto della factory Kawasaki e l’ottimismo di tutti gli interessati è tangibile.
Il principio della squadra e campione del mondo di Formula 1 nel 2007 è tipicamente schietto nell’approccio che lui e la squadra adotteranno nella prossima stagione.

Pienamente supportato dal formidabile produttore giapponese in termini di macchine da corsa e personale tecnico e ingegneristico, è un onore per il team mettere in campo una moto KX ampiamente aggiornata nel 2024; l’ultimo KX450-SR che ha un collegamento diretto alle moto al dettaglio ha sede e viene venduto nelle concessionarie Kawasaki.
Il pilota Kawasaki di lunga data, Romain Febvre, ha svolto un ruolo fondamentale nello sviluppo della moto 2024 che ha visto il suo debutto come prototipo nel 2023 e da allora è stata gradualmente aggiornata e perfezionata.
Con entrambe le moto ufficiali di Romain Febvre e il nuovo acquisto, Jeremy Seewer, dotate di elettronica all’avanguardia, è giusto che la moto nelle concessionarie Kawasaki per il 2024 abbia anche selezioni della mappa del motore, controllo della trazione e una struttura di interrogazione della moto che consente ai piloti di mettere a punto la loro moto e registrare le loro corse e le impostazioni.
“Romain ora comprende davvero la filosofia KX”, commenta il team manager, Antti Pyrhönen. “Ha testato e dato suggerimenti agli ingegneri giapponesi per favorire lo sviluppo costante della nostra nuova moto da corsa KX-SR ed è stato determinante nel testare e incrociare le caratteristiche tecniche e del pilota con la moto del cliente.
Il nostro ottimismo sulla moto del 2024 si basa su quanto bene si è comportato Romain durante la scorsa stagione. Penso che sia lui che la moto siano al livello successivo per il 2024 e siamo abbastanza fiduciosi per l’inizio della stagione”.
Questa fiducia può solo essere rafforzata dall’introduzione del nuovo pilota svizzero, Jeremy Seewer, che si unisce ad un’illustre carriera già avviata. Coerente e veloce, Seewer ha un’incredibile serie di presenze in gare a suo nome.
“È una bella formazione di piloti e penso che le altre squadre nel paddock vedano la combinazione Romain-Jeremy come una vera minaccia nel 2024”, ha commentato Antti. “Jeremy è super veloce e super coerente. KRT KX450-SR
Entrando nella terza stagione completa come squadra ufficiale ufficiale nella MXGP, il Kawasaki Racing Team con sede in Belgio ha piena fiducia nel suo supporto ufficiale, l’incredibile KX450-SR.
Il team è stato completamente immerso in ogni aspetto della nuova macchina dall’inizio alla fine che, a sua volta, ha pagato i dividendi in termini di nuova KX2024 del 450 venduta dai concessionari Kawasaki.

KAWASAKI RACING TEAM MXGP 2024 LAUNCH: “LET THE RESULTS AND BIKE PERFORMANCE DO THE TALKING”
2024 marks the third season that the Scandinavian duo of Manager, Antti Pyrhönen, and team principle, Kimi Raikkonen, field the Kawasaki Racing Team in MXGP on behalf of the Kawasaki factory and the optimism of all concerned is tangible.
Team Principle and 2007 Formula1 World Champion is characteristically forthright in the approach he and the team will adopt in the coming season.
“Let the results and bike performance do the talking. It’s going to be an interesting and demanding season ahead. The competition seems to get stronger and stronger each year which makes it exciting. KRT MXGP is a hard-working and professional team, our target is to grow together with Kawasaki and win – simple as that”
Fully supported by the formidable Japanese manufacturer in terms of race machines plus technical and engineering personnel, it is the honour of the team to field a widely updated KX machine in 2024; the very latest KX450-SR which has a direct connection to the retail machines are based and sold in Kawasaki dealerships.
Long time Kawasaki rider, Romain Febvre, has played a core role in the development of the 2024 machine which saw its debut in prototype form in 2023 and has been gradually updated and refined since.
With both the factory bikes of Romain Febvre and new signing, Jeremy Seewer, featuring state of the art electronics, it is only right that the machine in Kawasaki dealerships for 2024 also has engine map selections, launch control and a machine interrogation facility allowing riders to fine tune their machine and make records of their rides and settings.
“Romain really understands the KX philosophy now”, comments Team Manager, Antti Pyrhönen. “He tested and made suggestions to the Japanese engineers to aid the constant development of our new KX-SR race machine and was instrumental in the testing and cross-over of rider and technical features to the customer machine.
Our optimism about the 2024 bike is based on how well Romain went during last season. I think both he and the bike are at the next level for 2024 and we are quietly confident going into the season”.
That confidence can only be bolstered by the introduction of new Swiss rider, Jeremy Seewer, who joins with an illustrious career already established. Consistent and fast, Seewer has an incredible string of race attendances to his name.
“It’s quite a rider line up and I think other teams in the paddock see the combination of Romain and Jeremy as a real threat in 2024”, commented Antti. “Jeremy is super-fast and super consistent. He has a clinical approach, thinks about every aspect of the machine set up and is very precise. Allied to this, Romain knows the KX programme inside out and is a proven winner on our factory bikes.
Certainly it’s a nice position for the team to be embedded for three years within the Kawasaki culture and to have two such talented riders for 2024 lining up at the gate hungry for success”.

KRT KX450-SR
Entering their third full season as the official factory squad in MXGP, the Belgium based Kawasaki Racing Team have full confidence in their full factory mount, the incredible KX450-SR.
The team have been fully immersed in every aspect of the new machine from start to finish which, in turn, has paid dividends in terms of the new 2024 KX450 sold by Kawasaki dealers.
Coordinating the development between the Akashi factory race workshop in Japan and via secret testing at tracks across the globe, KRT and Kawasaki engineers have taken all the established good points of the 2023 machine and upgraded, replaced or redesigned the areas that GP winner, Romain Febvre, singled out for attention.
Traction and grip were also a point of reference in the development stage and the chassis, suspension and wheels were all given special attention to aid the precision of the new factory SR – particularly front end grip and feel, essential when each tenth is crucial at the highest level of racing. And regarding suspension, KRT continues its established approach in 2024 with Febvre using Showa factory items and Seewer riding on factory KYB units.
Electronic rider aids continue to grow in importance and the team have maximised their effectiveness while still delivering the essential feeling of overall control to the riders – a fine balance but something that is a particular skill of the factory, team and technical partners. The KRT KX450-SR riders have at their fingertips, electronic launch control for race starts, traction control and switchable ignition maps all activated and monitored from the onboard Motec ECU.
Rolling once more on grip hungry and precise Dunlop tyres – and supported by numerous technical and product sponsors – the KRT KX450-SR has proved to be a race winner. Now the challenge for Febvre and Seewer is to get the mighty SR across the line ahead of the following pack to secure both race and championship dominance.
