Presentato a Madonna di Campiglio il nuovo Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team
Dopo che Ducati ha annunciato lo scorso 24 ottobre il proprio ingresso nel mondo del motocross con una gamma di modelli che saranno disponibili sul mercato nei prossimi anni, Ducati Corse Off-Road, la divisione Ducati che si occupa dell’attività sportiva nel mondo delle ruote tassellate, ha presentato a Madonna di Campiglio, durante l’evento Campioni in Pista, i due prototipi che varranno utilizzati da Antonio Cairoli e Alessandro Lupino nel 2024.
La Desmo450 MX, questo è il nome del nuovo modello, è stata presentata sul palco del PalaCampiglio in veste racing con la livrea che verrà portata in gara quest’anno, nel Campionato Italiano Motocross Pro – Prestige MX1, dal Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team gestito da Corrado e Marco Maddii. L’obiettivo di questa prima stagione di gare è principalmente quello di acquisire dati ed informazioni in gara per contribuire allo sviluppo della Desmo450 MX che verrà messa in produzione nella seconda metà del 2025.
Sarà Alessandro Lupino a prendere parte a tutte le prove del Campionato Italiano, oltre che ad un intenso programma di test in cui verrà affiancato da Antonio Cairoli.
Il primo appuntamento in pista è per il 16 e 17 marzo a Mantova per la prima prova del Campionato Italiano Motocross Pro – Prestige MX1.

Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team
La Ducati Desmo450 MX prenderà parte quest’anno al Campionato Italiano Motocross Pro – Prestige MX1, che prenderà il via il 16 e 17 marzo a Mantova.
La squadra scelta da Ducati Corse per questo esordio nelle competizioni di motocross è la struttura di Corrado e Marco Maddii, che verrà iscritta come Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team con il pilota Alessandro Lupino. L’obiettivo principale sarà quello di sviluppare il nuovo modello anche attraverso l’esperienza in gara, e potrà contare anche su di un grande campione come Antonio Cairoli per portare avanti con successo questo ambizioso programma di sviluppo.
Il team Maddii Racing è nato nel 1991 grazie alla grande esperienza di Corrado Maddii maturata in numerosi anni di competizioni di alto livello nel motocross. In 33 anni di attività, il team Maddii Racing ha ottenuto importanti risultati e rappresentato grandi aziende e, nel 2017, con il supporto del figlio Marco nella gestione del team, è iniziata una nuova era focalizzata sui giovani piloti e sullo sviluppo di nuove moto.
Nelle ultime quattro stagioni, Corrado e Marco hanno ottenuto importanti risultati vincendo tra l’altro due titoli mondiali e sei campionati italiani.

The new Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team presented in Madonna di Campiglio
After Ducati announced last October 24 its entry into the world of motocross with a range of models that will be available on the market in the next few years, Ducati Corse Off-Road, the Ducati division in charge of racing activity in the world of knobby tyres, has now presented the two prototypes that will be used by Antonio Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino in 2024, in Madonna di Campiglio during the Campioni in Pista event.
The Desmo450 MX, this is the name of the new model, was presented on the PalaCampiglio stage in the racing livery that it will sport in competition this year – in the Italian Motocross Pro – Prestige MX1 Championship – by the Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team managed by Corrado and Marco Maddii. The target of this first season of racing is mainly to acquire data and information in racing to contribute to the development of the Desmo450 MX that will go into production in the second half of 2025.
It will be Alessandro Lupino who will take part in all the rounds of the Italian Championship, as well as in an intense testing program, in which he will be joined by Antonio Cairoli.
The race debut of the Ducati Desmo450 MX is planned for March 16 and 17 in Mantua for the first round of the Italian Motocross Pro Prestige MX1 Championship.

Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team
The Ducati Desmo450 MX will take part this year in the Italian Motocross Pro Prestige MX1 Championship, which will start on March 16 and 17 in Mantua.
The team selected by Ducati Corse for this debut in motocross competitions is the outfit of Corrado and Marco Maddii, that will be entered as Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team with Alessandro Lupino as the rider. The main goal for 2024 will be to further develop the new model through racing activity, counting on the support of a great champion like Antonio Cairoli to successfully carry out this ambitious development program.
The Maddii Racing team was established in 1991 thanks to the great experience that Corrado Maddii has accumulated through many years of high-level competition in motocross.
In 33 years of activity, the Maddii Racing team has achieved important results and represented major companies and in 2017, with the support of his son Marco in the management of the team, a new era began, focused on young riders and the development of new bikes.
In the last four racing seasons, Corrado and Marco achieved very important results, winning two world titles and six Italian championships, among others.
