Le gare sul fango sono state un argomento caldo questa settimana in seguito al San Francisco Supercross del 2024, caratterizzato da un forte acquazzone. Questa settimana lo riportiamo al 2018, dove l’Unadilla National ha sperimentato condizioni simili e abbiamo visto alcune gare serrate della classe 250. In questa prima manche, Dylan Ferrandis supera il compagno di squadra Aaron Plessinger per conquistare la vittoria davanti a Shane McElrath di Troy Lee Designs / Red Bull KTM. È interessante notare che sabato questi tre hanno concluso P4 – P6 nell’evento principale della 450SX a San Francisco. Forse avremmo dovuto sapere che avrebbero fatto bene guardando indietro a questa moto!
Mud races have been a hot topic this week coming off the 2024 San Francisco Supercross which featured quite the downpour. This week we’re throwing it back to 2018 where the Unadilla National experienced similar conditions and we saw some tight 250 class racing. In this first moto, Dylan Ferrandis outduels teammate Aaron Plessinger to take the win ahead of Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM’s Shane McElrath. Interestingly enough, those three finished P4 – P6 in the 450SX main event at San Francisco on Saturday. Maybe we should have know they would do well by looking back at this moto!
