GASGAS presenta le nuove MC 250F e MC 450F Factory Edition 2024, le moto da cross più belle e tecnologiche di sempre, dedicate a quei piloti che, oltre a divertirsi in pista, vogliono una moto versatile e con un’estetica decisamente accattivante. Dotate dell’innovativa Connectivity Unit Offroad e di un sensore GPS, entrambe le versioni possono essere personalizzate nelle prestazioni del motore attraverso l’app GASGAS+, gestibile con pochi tocchi dal proprio smartphone.

GASGAS Factory Edition… la mente corre subito alle moto ufficiali, quelle portate in gara da Simon Längenfelder in MX2, dal neocampione del mondo MXGP Jorge Prado o dal fuoriclasse dell’AMA Supercross Justin “Bam Bam” Barcia. Queste moto oltre ad essere terribilmente belle, sono anche equipaggiate con le migliori parti speciali, le stesse che è possibile acquistare nel catalogo accessori GASGAS.
Con l’arrivo delle MC 250F e MC 450F Factory Edition 2024, GASGAS fa un salto nell’iperspazio del motocross, offrendo a clienti e appassionati il meglio in fatto di design, tecnologia e prestazioni.
Le moto sono decisamente appariscenti, con aggressive grafiche Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GASGAS Factory Racing replica, che avvolgono al meglio i bordi delle plastiche grazie a un nuovo processo di applicazione “in mold”, creando così un’estetica più audace e luminosa. Nuova anche la copertina della sella, dotata di nervature trasversali, che ne migliorano il grip quando si spalanca il gas.
Nuovo anche il serbatoio – esclusivo delle Factory Edition – di capacità e dimensioni ridotte, che consente di risparmiare peso e di far fluire più liberamente l’aria attraverso i radiatori, migliorando il raffreddamento.
Nuovo anche il parafango anteriore, che integra perfettamente il sensore GPS, utile a gestire la funzione “RIDER” attraverso l’app GASGAS+.
Ma è sotto le plastiche rosse che si trovano le principali novità di questi modelli Factory Edition 2024: il telaio è stato infatti aggiornato nel punto di fissaggio superiore del mono, così come nelle staffe che collegano il motore. Il risultato? Una maggiore flessibilità, che unita alla nuova taratura delle sospensioni WP, migliora di molto l’agilità della moto, specialmente in ingresso curva.
Un altro importante aggiornamento introdotto sui nuovi modelli Factory Edition riguarda l’elettronica di bordo. Infatti, grazie alla nuova Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO), è ora possibile intervenire sulla mappatura motore e “cucirsi addosso” la moto. Tutto quello che si deve fare è scaricare la nuova app GASGAS+, accoppiare il proprio smartphone con la CUO installata di serie e con pochi tocchi accedere a tutte le funzioni dell’app.
All’interno di GASGAS+ sono presenti tre sezioni principali: ENGINE, SUSPENSION e RIDER.
ENGINE – qui è possibile scegliere tra le mappe motore predefinite in base al tipo di pista e alle condizioni del tracciato, oppure utilizzare la modalità ADVANCED, per creare la propria mappa da zero. La funzione consente inoltre di regolare a piacimento il freno motore, la risposta dell’acceleratore, il Traction Control, il Launch Control e la sensibilità del Quickshifter. È possibile salvare tutte le mappature preferite e attivare quella più adatta quando si arriva in circuito, per poi eseguire un ulteriore affinamento tra le sessioni o le gare, se necessario.
SUSPENSION – Questa opzione ha due funzioni principali: SAG ASSISTANT e SUSPENSION SETTING.
SAG ASSISTANT aiuta a trovare il SAG corretto per ogni singola moto. A tale scopo, quando si imposta l’assetto, l’app chiede “moto sul cavalletto” e “moto con pilota”.
SUSPENSION SETTING aiuta a personalizzare le sospensioni dopo aver inserito il peso del pilota vestito con l’abbigliamento tecnico e la tipologia/condizioni del tracciato. Una volta selezionato il proprio livello di abilità – Basic, Advanced o Pro – e il tipo di pista – Sand, Soft, Medium o Hard – vengono visualizzate le impostazioni consigliate, che possono essere perfezionate e salvate per essere utilizzate su altri circuiti.
RIDER – All’interno di questa funzione – sviluppata in collaborazione con LITPro – i dati acquisiti dalla CUO e dal GPS vengono elaborati e possono essere studiati nel dettaglio al termine di ogni sessione di allenamento o della gara. L’app offre un’analisi approfondita della guida (giro completo e singola sezione, tempo trascorso in volo, velocità in curva e analisi del Lap99) e consente allo stesso tempo di visualizzare i dati del motore, con un massimo di 15 valori selezionabili (giri motore, marcia inserita, apertura dell’acceleratore, mappa inserita e molti altri). Una volta scaricata la sessione, è possibile analizzare le performance di moto e pilota, confrontare i giri e competere con gli altri in una classifica virtuale.
La funzione RIDER è disponibile su Google Play Store e Apple App Store a pagamento con abbonamento annuale e viene offerto un periodo di prova di quattro settimane. I prezzi possono variare da Paese a Paese.

GasGas Announces 2024 450F and 250F Factory Edition Models
The 2024 GASGAS MC 250F and MC 450F Factory Editions are now equipped with even more cutting-edge technology, taking the riding experience to a whole new, higher level. A groundbreaking Connectivity Unit and GPS Sensor are fitted on both bikes, which when paired with a smartphone and the GASGAS+ App, allow riders to easily personalize engine performance and so much more! But that’s not all. As the Factory Editions evolve with each passing year, for 2024 both models feature plenty of new parts and improved features to make sure the performance and overall rideability, is better than ever!

As always, both Factory Edition models are equipped with plenty of trick new parts from front to back. Here’s a handy little list of what they are and just why they’re so awesome…
New frame and motor mounts – Reduced material improves chassis flex, reduces weight, and improves handling, especially when entering corners.
New Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GASGAS Factory Racing replica graphics – Wrapping further around the edges of the bodywork thanks to a new in-mold technology application process they ensure a bolder and brighter look. The look is topped off with a matching full gripper seat cover that features additional ribs to keep you planted firmly in place as you get on the gas!
Smaller fuel tank – Exclusive to the Factory Editions, the reduced capacity and size saves weight and allows air to flow more freely through the radiators, which leads to improved cooling.
Redesigned front fender – Blends perfectly into the front number plate and houses the new GPS sensor that enables the Rider feature on the GASGAS+ App to work perfectly.

For 2024, GASGAS is stoked to put engine tuning into rider’s hands for the very first time. All you need to do is download our new GASGAS+ app, pair your device with the Connectivity Unit Offroad that’s installed on every Factory Edition bike, then with a few quick taps, you can access all the app’s features.
Within the GASGAS+ App there are three main sections – ENGINE, SUSPENSION, and RIDER. The ENGINE feature allows you to customize and control the power delivery based on your style or the track conditions, while the SUSPENSION feature offers recommended settings for different types of circuits. Multiple set-ups, for both the engine and suspension, can be saved for future reference, too. Finally, the RIDER feature is where your lap times are recorded along with the ability to analyze everything about how your bike is running.
GASGAS+ App features in a little more detail…
ENGINE – Choose between predefined maps based on the track type and track conditions, or use the ADVANCED mode to create your map from scratch. The ENGINE feature gives you full control of the Engine Braking, Throttle Response, Traction Control, Launch Control, and Quickshifter sensitivity. You can then save all of your favorite mappings and activate the most suitable one when you arrive at each track, then make changes between sessions or races if you need to.
RIDER – Within this feature of the app, which is powered by LITPro and receives data from the CUO and GPS fitted to the front fender, you can record your session and download them into the app for detailed analysis. It offers amazing insights into your riding (lap and section analysis, airtime, corner analysis, and Lap99 analysis) and allows you to visualize your engine data at the same time, with up to 15 values selectable (engine RPM, gear position, throttle position, map switch mode, and many more). Once you download the session you can analyze your performance, compare laps, and compete with others on a virtual leaderboard.
The RIDER feature is only available as an annual subscription with a 4-week trial period, with pricing then starting at $69.99 USD in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
SUSPENSION – This feature of the app has two main functions. SAG ASSISTANT helps you find the correct SAG for each individual bike. To achieve this, ‘Bike on Stand’ and ‘Bike with Rider’ is asked by the app when setting the sag. By using the SUSPENSION SETTING section, you can create multiple, personalized suspension set-ups after inputting your weight while wearing riding gear, and track type and condition. Once you’ve selected your skill level – Basic, Advanced, or Pro – as well as the Track Terrain – Sand, Soft, Medium, or Hard – you’ll be shown recommended settings, which can be fine-tuned and saved for use at other circuits.
