FASTCROSS BY NIGHT 2023
Ci leggete volutamente in ritardo: la passione per il nostro sport viene prima di qualsiasi altra cosa. Abbiamo dato priorità alle imprese sportive di Maggiora che ha ospitato la vittoria di due titoli mondiali, tra cui, con nostro grande orgoglio, Andrea Adamo nostro testimonial che ha vinto il campionato del mondo MX2.
Il MXoN, appena concluso in Francia, rappresenta la chiusura ufficiale della stagione agonistica 2023 con una grande prestazione del team ITALIA al terzo gradino del podio.
Ora vogliamo ripercorrere con voi quanto è stato fatto il 2 settembre 2023 ad Arsago Seprio: il circuito FastCross è tornato a vivere e lo ha fatto con il FastCrossByNight. Nel 2000, con il dolore di molti, l’amatissimo tracciato di Giorgio Saporiti ha visto la sua chiusura. Ma il cuore dei suoi numerosi appassionati non ha mai smesso di sperare in una sua rinascita che la nutrita partecipazione del pubblico ha celebrato: il FastCross è risorto in un nuovo format e un differente stile di gara.
L’obiettivo del nuovo FastCross è il coinvolgimento del pubblico: desideravamo che i presenti si sentissero protagonisti della serata, proponendo momenti di intrattenimento pensati ad hoc per il pubblico, come la sfida 1vs1 e il freestyle. Con nostra grande gioia l’evento ha raccolto cinquemila persone tra le quali, non solo gli amanti dell’off-road, ma anche famiglie intere catturate dallo spettacolo che abbiamo pensato apposta per loro. La manifestazione sportiva è stata un alternarsi tra agonismo e divertimento, dando a tutti la possibilità di appassionarsi o riavvicinarsi al nostro amato sport.
La cerimonia di apertura è stata un momento denso di significato: tra abbracci di sincera commozione e gioia, le tre leggende del primo FastCross, Ricky Johnson, Alex Puzar e Trampas Parker, hanno annunciato la rinascita ufficiale del circuito.
È seguita una vera e propria standing ovation, un momento pieno di emozioni dove ricordi e sensazioni d’un tempo sono riaffiorati in un’istante. Un giro d’onore da parte di questo tris d’assi ha coronato la sentita cerimonia, in un “Come ai vecchi tempi” che apre la strada ad un nuovo corso per il FastCross.
Le tre leggende aprono il sipario all’atteso 1VS1 OmecFastChallenge, lo spettacolo progettato per divertire ed entusiasmare tutti: un giro secco di “corpo a corpo” che mozza il fiato alla folla esultante. Il giovane tifoso sempre più entusiasta dalla scarica di adrenalina e il papà che rivede in quegli occhi luccicanti la passione della sua giovinezza: due generazioni che si uniscono.
Un altro momento importante è stata la commemorazione a Giorgio Saporiti, il papà del FastCross: un ricordo più che sentito a colui che ha inventato la formula di gara che tutti conosciamo e ha permesso le sfide epiche degli anni ’80-’90. Le parole commosse di Ricky Johnson, Alex Puzar hanno dato testimonianza a un uomo di valore come Giorgio Saporiti con stima, riconoscenza e tanto affetto.
Al termine della gara alle premiazioni del vincitore King of FastCross2023 il bagno di folla è accorso ai piedi del podio: questo è stato il vero trofeo del vincitore, l’amore di un pubblico esultante e gioioso. Si è chiusa così in bellezza una manifestazione che i presenti hanno trasformato in un successo: la più bella vittoria dell’evento FastCrossByNight è stata decretata dagli appassionati che sono accorsi numerosi e hanno presenziato all’evento così intensamente da divenire parte di esso.
Siamo pronti per tornare con una nuova edizione nel 2024.

You are reading us intentionally late: the passion for our sport comes above everything else. We focused our priorities towards the sporting achievements in Maggiora, where were hosted two mondial title’s victories, including, to our great pride, our ambassador Andrea Adamo, who won the world Championship MX2. The MXoN , just concluded in France, represents the official close to the 2023 racing season racing season with a great performance for team Italy on the podium in 3rd position.
Now we want to go through with you everything that happened on the 2nd of September 2023 in Arsago Serpio: the FastCross track came back to life with FastCross By Night. In 2000, to many’s great sorrow, the beloved Giorgio Saporiti’s track was shutted down. But the heart of its many enthusiasts never stopped hoping in a rebirth, which was celebrated by an overwhelming response from the audience: FastCross is risen in a new format and in a different racing style.
The new FastCross main goal is the audience involvement: we wished that those present could feel like the main characters of the evening, suggesting moments of entertainment designed specifically for the audience, as the challenge 1vs1 and the freestyle. We were pleased to see that the event gathered five thousand people, among which not only off road’s lovers, but also entire families, fascinated by the show designed just for them. The sporting event has been a succession of agonism and entertainment, giving everyone the chance to become passionate about our beloved sport or to reconnect with it.
The opening ceremony was a meaningful moment: between hugs full of genuine emotion and joy, the three legends of the first FastCross Ricky Johnson, Alex Puzar e Trampas Parker announced the official reopening of the track. It was followed by an actual standing ovation, a moment full of emotions in which memories and feelings suddenly riemerged. A lap of honour of this Golden trio crowned the heartfelt ceremony, in a << like the good old days>> way, that leads the way to a new direction for FastCross.
The Golden Trio opens the curtain on the long-awaited 1vs1 OmecFastChallenge, the show specifically designed to delight everyone: a hand-to-hand brief lap, which knocks the wind out of the cheering crowd. The young supporter increasingly thrilled by the adrenalin rush and the father who sees again in those shining eyes the passion of his youth: two generations coming together.
Another very important moment of the celebration was the commemoration of Giorgio Saporiti, FastCross’ father: a very heartfelt memorial for the one who came up with the competition formula that we all know and who ensured all the epic challenges of the Eighties and the Nineties. The moved words by Ricky Johnson, Alex Puzar testified a worthy man like Giorgio Saporiti with respect, gratitude and a great amount of affection.
At the end of the race, during the award cerimony of the King winner of FastCross 2023, the massive crowd rushed to the podium: this was indeed the true prize for the winner, the love of a cheering and joyful audience. Thus, we witnessed the perfect ending of a celebration turned into success by those who were there: the most stunning victory of the FastCrossByNight event was declared by all the supporters, who came in great number and who participate in the event so deeply to became part of it.
We are ready to come back with a new edition in 2024.
