Janis Reisulis incoronato campione EMX125 in Gran Bretagna
Janis Reisulis di MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 ha conquistato il contestatissimo titolo EMX125 2023 con un’impressionante vittoria nella penultima(Si intende la manche n.d.r.) gara della stagione, a Matterley Basin, a Winchester, in Gran Bretagna.
Dirigendosi verso il nono e ultimo round del campionato EMX125, Reisulis aveva un vantaggio di 37 punti sul suo rivale più vicino nel campionato, Mathis Valin. Con le probabilità a suo favore, tutto ciò che l’asso della Yamaha doveva fare era superare Valin o finire a 12 punti dal francese per assicurarsi il prestigioso titolo.
Quando i cancelli sono caduti per la penultima gara, Reisulis trasudava calma fiducia. Il quindicenne lettone ha portato la sua YZ125 equipaggiata con GYTR fino a una partenza tra i primi tre e si è rapidamente dimostrato il meritevole campione mentre caricava al comando e conduceva in modo impeccabile ogni giro per conquistare il suo primo titolo EMX con una vittoria in gara dominante.
La straordinaria campagna per il titolo 2023 di Reisulis vanta un record di podi del 100%, comprese 11 vittorie in gare impressionanti, cinque vittorie complessive e un totale di otto podi. Il suo successo segna anche il secondo titolo EMX125 per il team ufficiale EMX125 MJC Yamaha.
Ora incoronati campioni, Reisulis, Yamaha e il team attendono con impazienza l’ultima gara della stagione, che si svolgerà domani, domenica 24 settembre, alle 09:40 (BST).

Janis Reisulis Crowned EMX125 Champion in Great Britain
MJC Yamaha Official EMX125’s Janis Reisulis locked up the hotly contested 2023 EMX125 title with an impressive victory in the penultimate race of the season, at Matterley Basin, in Winchester, Great Britain.
Heading into the ninth and final round of the EMX125 Championship, Reisulis held a commanding 37-point lead over his closest championship rival, Mathis Valin. With the odds in his favour, all the Yamaha ace had to do was outperform Valin or finish within 12 points of the Frenchman to secure the prestigious title.
When the gates fell for the penultimate race, Reisulis exuded calm confidence. The 15-year-old Latvian powered his GYTR kitted YZ125 to a top-three start and quickly proved himself as the deserving champion as he charged to the lead and flawlessly led every lap to clinch his maiden EMX title with a dominant race win.
Reisulis’s remarkable 2023 title campaign boasts a 100% podium record, including 11 impressive race wins, five overall victories, and a total of eight podium finishes. His success also marks the second EMX125 title for the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team.
Now crowned champions, Reisulis, Yamaha and the team eagerly anticipate the final race of the season, which will take place tomorrow, Sunday 24th September, at 09:40 (BST).
