Giovane e determinata.
Alberto Forato. Nato a Feltre (BL) il 30/03/2000. Moto: Ktm. Team: SM Action Racing. Moto Club: Orbassano Racing. Classe MXoN: MXGP
Mattia Guadagnini. Nato a Bassano del Grappa (VI) l’11/04/2002. Moto: GasGas. Team: Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing. Moto Club: Ardosa. Classe MXoN: MXOpen
Andrea Adamo. Nato a Erice (TP) il 22/08/2003. Moto: Ktm. Team: Red Bull Ktm Factory Racing. Moto Club: La Rocca. Classe MXoN: MX2

After weeks of waiting and curiosity on the part of the media and enthusiasts, it is time to reveal the names of the Italian riders who will wear the Maglia Azzurra at the Motocross of Nations. The big end-of-season event is scheduled for Ernée, France, on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October.
The IMF Technical Commissioner, Thomas Traversini, has summoned:
Alberto Forato. Born in Feltre (BL) on 03/30/2000. Motorcycle: KTM.
Team: SM Action Racing. Moto Club: Orbassano Racing. MXoN class: MXGP
Mattia Guadagnini. Born in Bassano del Grappa (VI) on 04/11/2002. Motorcycle: GasGas.
Team: Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing. Moto Club: Ardosa. MXoN class: MXOpen
Andrea Adamo. Born in Erice (TP) on 08/22/2003. Motorcycle: KTM.
Team: Red Bull Ktm Factory Racing. Moto Club: La Rocca. MXoN class: MX2
The average age of the Italian team (21.3 years) testifies to the continuous growth of the Italian cross-country movement, also certified by the international individual and team titles recently won. Alberto Forato is constantly in the group of the best in MXGP, so much so that he achieved his first top 5 in a Grand Prix in Turkey. It was in Afyon that Mattia Guadagnini returned to the race, demonstrating that he has completely overcome the fracture to the humerus in his left arm that kept him away from the World Championship for over 100 days. Andrea Adamo, for his part, is the leader of the MX2 World Championship with numerous victories and podiums to his credit.
Giovanni Copioli, FMI President: “We are thrilled to present this team, made up of young riders ready to give their all for the Maglia Azzurra as they have already done in the past. Each of them has experience in this Trophy, a fundamental aspect to best face such a high-value competition. I am sure that there will be a strong team spirit not only among the drivers but among all the parties involved in this trip in which we want to confirm ourselves among the reference national teams. It will be the first Nations after the Cairoli era: I am convinced that the boys will put on track the values transmitted by the nine-time world champion”.
Thomas Traversini, FMI Technical Commissioner: “Our boys can’t wait to get on the track with the colors of Italy. When I told them of the invitations they expressed great enthusiasm and desire to compete in the most anticipated competition of the year. I have followed them since they were very young and I know well that they have great human as well as technical qualities, so I am sure that there will be a great team spirit. There are numerous teams equipped to aspire to the podium; we, as always, will aim for the top levels of the rankings.”
