ROMAIN FEBVRE FIRMA PER KAWASAKI IN MXGP PER IL 2024
Kawasaki Motors Ltd. è lieta di confermare che Romain Febvre rimarrà nel progetto KRT MXGP la prossima stagione per il quinto anno consecutivo.
Da quando è entrato a far parte del team quattro anni fa, Romain Febvre ha costantemente ottenuto successi, inclusa una medaglia d’argento nel campionato del mondo nel 2021, ed è attualmente in forma eccezionale con sei vittorie nei Gran Premi e un ulteriore podio negli ultimi sette round del campionato mondiale di motocross FIM MXGP. Il 31enne è attualmente secondo nella classifica a punti nonostante uno sfortunato incidente in partenza durante le qualifiche del GP di Spagna a maggio che gli ha impedito di disputare quel round della serie.
Per tutta la stagione il francese e la sua KX450-SR 2023 hanno stretto una formidabile partnership grazie al duro lavoro e alla collaborazione del pilota e dello staff del Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP in collaborazione con gli ingegneri e lo staff in Giappone presso KMC. Con la conferma di Febvre per la prossima stagione, tutte le parti ora hanno una base ancora più forte per prepararsi durante il prossimo periodo di test invernali per un altro assalto al Campionato mondiale FIM MXGP Motocross.
Romain Febvre: “Sono felice di continuare con Kawasaki; ovviamente è stata la mia prima scelta! Abbiamo lavorato duramente lo scorso inverno per sviluppare la nuovissima KX450-SR dalla moto di produzione KX450 e con tutti questi podi abbiamo dimostrato quanto sia competitiva la moto. Voglio mantenere quel pacchetto per la prossima stagione. Mi sento molto a mio agio sulla moto e abbiamo già vinto sei GP insieme. Conosco la moto e i membri del team; abbiamo un ottimo legame insieme e rimanere sulla stessa moto con le stesse persone è sicuramente il modo migliore per prepararsi per un altro assalto al titolo il prossimo anno”.

ROMAIN FEBVRE SIGNS FOR KAWASAKI IN MXGP FOR 2024
Kawasaki Motors Ltd. is pleased to confirm that Romain Febvre will remain with the KRT MXGP project next season for the fifth consecutive year.
Since he joined the team four years ago Romain Febvre has consistently delivered success, including a world championship silver medal in 2021, and is currently in outstanding form with six Grand Prix victories and one further podium from the most recent seven rounds of the world’s premier off-road series, the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship. The 31 year old is currently second in the series points standings despite an unfortunate start collision during Qualifying for the Spanish GP in May which prevented him from contesting that round of the series.
Throughout the season the Frenchman and his 2023 KX450-SR have gelled into a formidable partnership thanks to the hard work and collaboration of rider and the staff of Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP in cooperation with engineers and staff in Japan at KMC. With the confirmation of Febvre for the coming season, all parties now have an even stronger base to prepare during the coming winter test period for another assault on the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship.
Romain Febvre: “I’m delighted to continue with Kawasaki; that was of course my first choice! We worked hard last winter to develop the brand-new KX450-SR from the KX450 production machine and we have shown with all these podiums how competitive the bike is. I want to keep that package for next season. I feel so comfortable on the bike and we have already won six GPs together. I know the bike and the team members; we have a great connection together and to stay on the same bike with the same people is for sure the best way to prepare for another title assault next year.”
