Bonacorsi mantiene il 100% di apparizioni sul podio ed estende la leadership nel campionato EMX250 con una vittoria sensazionale ad Arnhem
Andrea Bonacorsi di Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 ha messo in mostra il suo dominio nel campionato EMX250 avanzando ulteriormente nella classifica del campionato con una sensazionale vittoria all’ottavo round della serie ad Arnhem, Paesi Bassi.
Il relativamente nuovo circuito di Arnhem ha rappresentato una dura sfida per i piloti con il suo tracciato accidentato e sabbioso, caratterizzato da sezioni ad alta velocità, solchi profondi e complessi dossi dai bordi squadrati. Bonacorsi ha avuto il suo bel da fare in Gara Uno dopo che la sua partenza decente è stata interrotta da un altro pilota caduto accanto a lui. Fortunatamente, è stato veloce ad evitare l’incidente, uscendo comunque dalla prima curva in nona posizione.
Da lì, il talentuoso italiano è rimasto impassibile di fronte alle difficili condizioni e ha dimostrato il suo valore come leader del campionato EMX250. Con eccezionale abilità e precisione, il “32” ha abilmente alimentato la sua YZ250F equipaggiata con GYTR fino a raggiungere un sensazionale secondo posto.
In Gara Due, l’asso della Yamaha è partito meglio ed è rimasto paziente nel risalire dalla sesta posizione. Grazie ai suoi tempi sul giro costanti e ad alcuni sorpassi attentamente calcolati, l’italiano ha tagliato il traguardo secondo, assicurandosi così la vittoria nell’ottavo round della stagione.
Il team Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 ha vissuto gli alti e bassi delle gare all’MXGP dei Paesi Bassi. Mentre Bonacorsi rafforzava la sua corsa per il titolo EMX250, il suo compagno di squadra Ivano van Erp ha subito una caduta devastante mentre era in testa a Gara Uno. Nell’incidente il giovane pilota olandese ha riportato la frattura del bacino a fine stagione. Nonostante la battuta d’arresto, la squadra rimane concentrata sulle proprie aspirazioni al campionato. Bonacorsi è salito sul podio in ogni round EMX nel 2023 e ha un comodo vantaggio di 54 punti nella classifica del campionato.
Con solo due round rimasti, Bonacorsi rimane il pilota da battere e, con più di 50 punti sul suo rivale più vicino, l’italiano avrà la sua prima opportunità di conquistare il titolo nel penultimo round ad Afyonkarahisar, in Turchia, nel fine settimana di settembre. 3°.

Mi sentivo un po’ stanco nella prima gara e non volevo commettere troppi errori su questa pista, ma siamo riusciti a finire 2-2 e primi in classifica generale, quindi sono davvero felice e voglio ringraziare tutta la mia squadra e gli sponsor. Voglio anche augurare il miglior recupero al mio compagno di squadra Ivano (Van Erp) che ieri è caduto. È stato un peccato perché pensavo che fosse possibile salire 1-2 sul podio, ma buona fortuna a lui e grazie a tutti”.

Bonacorsi Maintains 100% Podium Streak & Extends EMX250 Championship Lead with Sensational Victory in Arnhem
Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250’s Andrea Bonacorsi showcased his dominance in the EMX250 Championship as he charged further ahead in the Championship Standings with a sensational round win at the eighth round of the series in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
The relatively new Arnhem circuit presented a tough challenge for the riders with its rough and sandy layout, featuring high-speed sections, deep ruts, and complex square-edged bumps. Bonacorsi had his work cut out for him in Race One after his decent start was disrupted by another rider falling beside him. Fortunately, he was quick to avoid the incident, and still emerged from turn-one in ninth position.
From there, the talented Italian remained unphased by the tough conditions and proved his worth as the EMX250 championship leader. With exceptional skill and precision, the ‘32’ skillfully powered his GYTR kitted YZ250F to a sensational second place finish.
In Race Two, the Yamaha ace got off to a better start and remained patient in his charge forward from sixth. With his consistent lap times and some carefully calculated passes, the Italian crossed the finish line second, consequently securing his third-round win of the season.
The Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 team experienced the highs and lows of racing at the MXGP of The Netherlands. While Bonacorsi strengthened his charge for the EMX250 title, his teammate Ivano van Erp suffered a devastating fall while leading Race One. The young Dutch rider sustained a season-ending fractured pelvis in the incident. Despite the setback, the team remains focused on their championship aspirations. Bonacorsi has finished on the podium at every EMX round in 2023, and has a comfortable 54 point lead in the Championship Standings.
With only two rounds remaining, Bonacorsi remains the rider to beat, and with more than 50 points on his closest rival, the Italian will be presented with his first opportunity to take the crown at the penultimate round in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey on the weekend of September 3rd.

I felt a bit tired in the first race and didn’t want to make too many mistakes on this track but we managed to go 2-2 and first overall so I’m really happy and I want to thank all my team and sponsors. I also want to wish the best recovery to my teammate Ivano (Van Erp) who had a crash yesterday. It was a pity because I thought it was possible to go 1-2 on the podium but best of luck to him and thank you everyone.”
