Kay de Wolf del team Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing non ha potuto portare a termine il Gran Premio delle Fiandre. De Wolf desiderava superare il dolore provocato da uno sfortunato incidente in prova mercoledì 19 luglio, ma si è rivelato impossibile.
De Wolf ha fatto uno sforzo coraggioso per qualificarsi al sesto posto, ma una caduta all’inizio della prima manche non ha fatto altro che aggravare i suoi problemi. Sono state sei settimane difficili per de Wolf, che era in prima linea nella lotta per il campionato del mondo, e ora si prenderà il tempo necessario per permettere al suo corpo di guarire. ’74’ ha il pieno supporto del team Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing.
Lucas Coenen sarà l’unico rappresentante di Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing al prossimo Gran Premio di Finlandia, poiché Roan van de Moosdijk si sta ancora riprendendo dall’infortunio alla clavicola riportato nella Repubblica Ceca. Aggiornamenti sia su van de Moosdijk che su de Wolf verranno forniti a tempo debito.

Ci sono stati momenti eccezionali, come la vittoria del Gran Premio che Kay ha ottenuto in Lettonia, e ora stiamo vivendo il lato duro di questo sport. Kay si prenderà il tempo per far guarire il suo corpo martoriato e contuso, poi tornerà quando sarà pronto a rimettere la sua FC 250 sul podio”.

Kay de Wolf of the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing team could not complete yesterday’s Grand Prix of Flanders. De Wolf was keen to push through the pain that was prompted by an unfortunate practice crash on Wednesday, July 19, but that proved to be impossible.
De Wolf put in a valiant effort to qualify in sixth place, but a crash at the start of moto one only added to his troubles. It has been a tricky six weeks for de Wolf, who was at the forefront of the fight for the world championship, and he will now take the necessary time to allow his body to heal. ’74’ has the full support of the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing outfit.
Lucas Coenen will be Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing’s sole representative at the upcoming Grand Prix of Finland, as Roan van de Moosdijk is still recovering from the collarbone injury that he sustained in the Czech Republic. Updates on both van de Moosdijk and de Wolf will be provided in due course.
