VALENTIN GUILLOD PERDE IL MONSTER ENERGY MXGP DELLE FIANDRE

Già a Lommel con il team Ship to Cycle Honda Motoblouz SR, Valentin Guillod salterà il tredicesimo round del FIM Motocross World Championship, il Monster Energy MXGP delle Fiandre. Il corridore svizzero si è infortunato dopo una caduta questa settimana durante l’allenamento, e questo fine settimana sarà il primo sostenitore di Emil Weckman.

Valentin Guillod: “Eravamo a Berghem mercoledì, e dopo due sessioni da 20 minuti siamo andati a fare un’ultima sessione quando sono caduto sulla spalla in curva. Quando sono risalito in moto ho avuto un po’ di dolore alla spalla, sono andato a fare una radiografia che ha rilevato una linea di frattura sulla scapola. Le ossa non si sono mosse, quindi i medici hanno parlato di 2/3 settimane di pausa, il che fa sperare in un ritorno in Svezia a metà agosto. Non è doloroso se non muovo il braccio. È frustrante perché la sensazione era buona, mi stavo davvero divertendo sulla sabbia e volevo fare un bel Gran Premio a Lommel per segnare un’altra top 10”.

Already at Lommel with team Ship to Cycle Honda Motoblouz SR, Valentin Guillod will miss the thirteenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championsh, the Monster Energy MXGP of Flanders. The Swiss rider got injured after a fall this week while training, and he will be this weekend the first supporter of Emil Weckman.

Valentin Guillod: “We were in Berghem on Wednesday, and after two 20-minute sessions we went for a last session when I fell on my shoulder in a corner. When I got back on the bike I had some pain in my shoulder; I went for an x-ray which detected a fracture line on the scapula. The bones have not moved, so the doctors talked about 2/3 weeks off, which gives hope for a comeback in Sweden mid August. It’s not painful if I don’t move the arm. It’s frustrating because the feeling was good, I was really enjoying myself in the sand and I wanted to do a nice Grand Prix in Lommel to score another top 10.”
