Rinnovo di contratto per Langenfelder!
Il team Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing è entusiasta di annunciare che Simon Langenfelder ha firmato un nuovo accordo con la squadra, che prolunga il suo contratto al Campionato Mondiale FIM Motocross 2024 e oltre.
Langenfelder ha corso con i colori GASGAS da quando il marchio ha esordito nel mondiale motocross, ed è poi entrato a far parte della squadra ufficiale, il team Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing, nei mesi precedenti al primo round del Campionato mondiale FIM Motocross 2022. Quell’anno Simon vinse il Gran Premio di Gran Bretagna e concluse il campionato in terza posizione.
Quest’anno Langenfelder ha vinto la sua prima manche stagionale nel Gran Premio del Trentino e ha dominato il recente Gran Premio in Spagna con una perentoria doppietta. Purtroppo nel momento migliore della stagione, qualche giorno dopo il GP spagnolo, ha subito un infortunio al braccio in allenamento ed è stato costretto a fermarsi. Ora sta lavorando nella riabilitazione dall’infortunio, ed è bello che in questo momento abbia ricevuto il prolungamento del contratto con il team… tutti non vedono l’ora che torni in sella alla sua MC 250F per lottare al vertice per i colori Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing!

Sono convinto che prima o poi i risultati arriveranno. Ha già mostrato buone cose, finendo terzo nel campionato MX2 del 2022. Quest’anno è stato sfortunato nelle prime gare ma ha accresciuto il suo potenziale e ha mostrato grande velocità nel MXGP di Spagna con una doppia vittoria. Continueremo in quella direzione al suo rientro dall’infortunio”.

RED BULL GASGAS FACTORY RACING AND SIMON LANGENFELDER AGREE TO NEW DEAL
SIMON LANGENFELDER CONFIRMS FUTURE WITH GASGAS FACTORY RACING.
Langenfelder has competed in GASGAS colors since the manufacturer debuted in the Grand Prix series and transferred to the elite Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing awning in the months prior to round one of the 2022 FIM Motocross World Championship. ‘516’ won the Grand Prix of Great Britain and ended third in the championship standings that year.
Entering the current term with championship expectations, Langenfelder won his first race of the year at the Grand Prix of Trentino and won the most recent Grand Prix in Spain in a dominant fashion. The flamboyant star suffered an arm injury in the days following that triumph, unfortunately, and is sidelined for the time being. All involved are excited to see him back on an MC 250F and competing for victories in Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing colors for years to come.

He is a hard working guy and has great potential! I am convinced that sooner or later the results will come. He has already shown good things, finishing third in the MX2 series in 2022. This year, he was unlucky in the first races but he implemented his potential and showed great speed at the MXGP of Spain with 1-1 results. We will continue in that direction upon his return from injury.”
