JASON ANDERSON INFORTUNIO NELL’INCIDENTE DI PROVA DI NASHVILLE
Dopo una notte selvaggia di corse a Nashville che ha visto molti piloti andare in terra, ora apprendiamo che il 15° round ha mietuto un’altra vittima. Jason Anderson è andato su Instagram per dire che è caduto in allenamento e, dato che non pensava di essersi infortunato troppo gravemente, ha finito per correre tutto il giorno con il collo rotto! È comunque arrivato sesto nel main event della 450SX, dimostrando che i piloti di supercross sono una razza diversa di atleta. Secondo la pagina Instagram di Kawasaki Racing, il numero 21 “rimarrà fuori dai restanti round del campionato Monster Energy Supercross e impiegherà settimana dopo settimana per determinare il suo ritorno alle corse”. Quindi speriamo in una pronta guarigione per Jason.
Ecco cosa ha detto Jason su Instagram:
“Quindi lo scorso fine settimana ho avuto un incidente in prova che non pensavo fosse troppo grave … Dopo le gare e poi le prove questa settimana mi sono sentito come se qualcosa non andasse. Quindi dopo una TAC ha mostrato che ho una frattura non scomposta in c5-c6 nel collo. Ovviamente questa è una delle cose che temiamo di più come corridori è un infortunio in quella zona, ma fortunatamente dove c’è la frattura la mia stagione non è finita e posso tornare alle gare relativamente presto! #spinale

JASON ANDERSON INJURED IN NASHVILLE PRACTICE CRASH
After a wild night of racing in Nashville which saw many riders hit the dirt, we are now learning that the 15th round has claimed another victim. Jason Anderson took to Instagram to say that he crashed in practice, and since he did not think he was too badly injured, he ended up racing the entire day with a broken neck! He still finished sixth in the 450SX main event, proving supercross riders are a different breed of athlete. According to the Kawasaki Racing Instagram page, the #21 “will sit out the remaining rounds of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship and will take it week by week to determine his return to racing.” Here is hoping for a speedy recovery for Jason.

So last weekend I had a crash in practice that I didn’t think it was too bad… After racing then practicing this week I felt like something was wrong. So after a ct scan it showed I have a non displaced fracture at c5-c6 in my neck. Obviously that’s one of the things we fear the most as racers is a injury in that area,, but luckily where the fracture is my season is not over and I can come back to the races relatively soon! #spinal
Kawasaki Racing Team: Rider Update Pt. 2/2 With focus toward his recovery, Anderson will sit out the remaining rounds of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship and will take it week by week to determine his return to racing.
